If FireShot saves only what is currently visible in Chrome, first check that you selected Capture entire Page, not Capture visible Area. If the full-page command is already selected, the page may contain an inner scrolling region or load new content as you scroll—conditions that can complicate capture, with no single fix established for every page.
1. Select the full-page capture command
FireShot distinguishes between capturing an entire page, the visible area, and a selected area. Its manual says the entire-page option is intended to capture content that is not visible without scrolling. Choose Capture entire Page from FireShot’s capture options; the exact wording or menu placement may vary by extension version. FireShot’s Using FireShot Pro manual documents these separate capture scopes.
If you choose Capture visible Area, the result is limited to the viewport. Selecting the correct scope is the first check before changing browser settings or assuming the extension is broken.
2. Check whether the missing content is in a separate scroll area
Some pages have a panel, embedded document, or other region with its own scrollbar. In that case, the overall page and the inner region do not necessarily scroll together. Check which area actually contains the missing material and whether it scrolls independently.

FireShot support has noted that some elements cannot be scrolled automatically and that this can cause capture failure. That is a documented possible cause, not proof that every embedded or independently scrolling area will fail. FireShot support discusses this limitation.
3. Account for pages that load content as you scroll
Endless-scroll pages may add more content as the page moves downward. A FireShot support thread describes preloading new content during scrolling as a complication for capture. If the page appears to be loading more material, wait for the visible loading activity to settle and try again. Treat this as a diagnostic step, not a guaranteed workaround; the available support material does not establish a universal setting that resolves every dynamic page.

4. Inspect where the capture stops
Open the saved image or PDF and compare it with the page from top to bottom. Note whether the result:
- ends at the visible viewport, which points back to checking the capture scope;
- stops at the edge of an inner scrolling region, which may indicate that the relevant content is in a separate scrollable element; or
- cuts off while additional page content is appearing, which may indicate that the page is changing during capture.
If the problem persists, record the affected page URL, Chrome version, and FireShot version before contacting FireShot support. The cited FireShot sources do not identify one current setting, upgrade, or workaround that fixes all full-page capture failures.
