Loop a video on YouTube Live with OBS Studio
- Create a YouTube live stream. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or select a stream. YouTube’s encoder workflow uses a Live server URL and stream key; consult YouTube’s live-streaming with an encoder instructions for the current setup flow.
- Keep the stream key private. Enter the server URL and key in OBS’s stream configuration. Never show the key in a screenshot, screen share or public instruction. Anyone who obtains it may be able to broadcast to your channel.

Copyright and channel-policy checks for prerecorded streams
Only stream video and audio you have the rights or permission to use. A recording being yours, publicly available or easy to download does not automatically grant live-streaming rights to its music, footage or other included material. YouTube may identify copyrighted material during a live stream, and a stream can be interrupted or restricted.
