Capture the entire page in Firefox

Open the web page you want to save in Firefox.

Click the Awesome Screenshot icon near the address bar. If you do not see it, look for it in Firefox’s extensions menu or pin the extension to the toolbar; the exact menu label can vary by Firefox version.

Select Capture Entire Page. This is the Firefox-specific command in Awesome Screenshot’s full-page capture instructions.

Review the captured page, make any edits, and choose an export format.

Do not substitute the Chrome or Edge sequence: the publisher’s instructions for those browsers use Capture followed by Full Page, while Firefox’s instruction is Capture Entire Page.
Choose a capture area and format
The Firefox add-on supports three coverage choices: an entire page, a selected area, or the currently visible part of the page. Use the entire-page option for a scrolling screenshot; choose a selected area when only one region matters, or the visible-part option to capture just the current viewport. The Firefox Add-ons listing also describes editing tools including crop, resize, annotation, text, highlighting, and blur.

Fix common capture problems
The extension icon is missing
Check Firefox’s extensions menu, then pin the extension to the toolbar if needed. If Awesome Screenshot is not installed, use its listing in Firefox Add-ons and review the requested permissions before adding it.

“Capture Entire Page” is unavailable or capture fails
Check whether the extension is compatible with your current Firefox release and whether an update is available. The Mozilla listing identifies version 4.3.7.21, last updated November 19, 2025, and the developer warns that Firefox’s faster upgrade cycle can sometimes make the extension incompatible with the latest Firefox version. See the add-on listing for its current version and compatibility information.
You cannot find a keyboard shortcut
Use the toolbar workflow above. The Firefox-specific full-page instructions provide that route; the shortcut help link exposed in the publisher’s general instructions is for Chrome, not Firefox. The general capture guidance is available in Awesome Screenshot’s capture and save help article.

Review permissions and privacy before capturing
The Firefox Add-ons listing requests access to website data, browser tabs, clipboard input, and downloads. Its privacy disclosure says basic account and service-use information—such as registered email, browser type and version, and service pages visited—may be collected. It says screenshot and video content is private by default unless the account owner chooses to share it. Check the current listing and disclosure if these permissions or handling terms affect your decision.
