If a GoFullPage capture looks blurry in its result tab, click the image to toggle its display zoom, then download it and inspect the file at full size. GoFullPage says the result tab initially shows the screenshot zoomed out and that the downloaded image is full resolution. If the downloaded file itself still looks blurry, its available documentation does not describe a universal resolution fix.
First check whether only the preview looks blurry
GoFullPage’s FAQ says a completed screenshot is initially displayed zoomed out in a new tab. Click the image to toggle its displayed zoom. A small or soft-looking preview is not, by itself, evidence that the saved capture lost detail.
- Open the completed capture in the GoFullPage result tab.
- Click the image to toggle its display zoom.
- Download the image and open that file at full size to assess the actual output.
GoFullPage states that the downloaded image is full resolution. Compare the downloaded file—not just the initial in-tab preview—before diagnosing a capture-quality problem. See the GoFullPage FAQ.
What to do if a very long page is split into images
GoFullPage captures a page by scrolling through its visible parts and assembling them. On exceptionally large pages, it may divide the result into multiple images; its FAQ also says captures that yield ten or more images may not complete. This is a large-page handling issue, not necessarily blur in an otherwise complete image.

Keep a long capture on one PDF page
For a long capture, GoFullPage documents a PDF export option: set PDF Size to full image to export the capture as one PDF page. This changes the export format and layout; it is not a general resolution setting for a blurry downloaded image.
If the downloaded image is still blurry
- Confirm you are viewing the downloaded image at full size, rather than relying on the zoomed-out result preview.
- If the page was exceptionally long, check whether GoFullPage split the capture or whether a very large capture failed to complete. Try the documented full-image PDF export if a single-page document is suitable.
- Check the Chrome Web Store listing for an available extension update. Version and update details change; an update is a reasonable troubleshooting check, but GoFullPage does not promise it will resolve every blur issue. The listing is at GoFullPage – Full Page Screen Capture.
- If the downloaded file remains genuinely blurry, contact GoFullPage through the support route described in its Chrome Web Store listing. The official sources reviewed do not establish a universal fix for that case.
Changing monitor resolution or operating-system scaling cannot restore detail that is absent from an already captured file; GoFullPage’s reviewed documentation does not identify either as a remedy.
