Capture a full page with GoFullPage

Install GoFullPage from the official listing for your browser. GoFullPage lists an official Firefox add-on, and its Chrome distribution has included separate original and BETA listings; check the store listing before installing. Open the ordinary web page you want to capture. GoFullPage captures by scrolling the live page through successive visible portions, then assembling those portions into one result.

Click the GoFullPage icon in the browser toolbar. In the current BETA Chrome listing, you can also press Alt+Shift+P. If the shortcut does not work, use the toolbar icon; shortcuts can vary with browser settings and keyboard layout. The BETA Chrome listing.

Wait for the extension to scroll down the page and assemble the capture. GoFullPage says the full-page capture needs to visit each visible part, so a long page takes longer than a single-screen screenshot. The completed result opens in a new tab. GoFullPage BETA listing.

Choose an image or PDF export from the result page. The listing names PNG, JPEG, and PDF. Crop, annotation, and emoji editing are identified as Premium editor features, so do not assume those editing tools are included in the free export workflow. GoFullPage FAQ, GoFullPage BETA listing.
Choose an export format

Permissions: saving captures and capturing frames
Saving a file to your computer
GoFullPage says screenshots reside locally in the extension, and the browser’s Downloads permission is needed to save files to your computer. If you decline that permission, capture and saving are different tasks: the extension may still hold the result locally, but it cannot use the browser download capability to write the file. Capturing content inside an iframe
For iframe capture, GoFullPage may request tabs, webNavigation, and host permissions when that feature needs them. If you decline, the extension will not capture the iframe on that page; ordinary pages without iframes continue to work. Review the permission prompt in context and grant only what you need for the page you are capturing. GoFullPage permissions.
Known limitations and troubleshooting
The page is a PDF opened in the browser
GoFullPage’s FAQ says it cannot access a PDF document to scroll and capture it as it would an ordinary web page. Use the browser or PDF viewer’s own save or export controls when you need the document itself. GoFullPage FAQ.

The capture stops or misses content on a custom-scrolling site
Some websites manage scrolling with their own JavaScript, which can interfere with the extension’s normal page-scrolling process. If the capture does not traverse the content correctly, try the site’s standard document view if one is available; the FAQ identifies custom scrolling as a known exception. GoFullPage FAQ.
The page is exceptionally tall
If Chrome cannot store the entire capture as one image, the current BETA listing says GoFullPage reports the issue and splits the result into images in separate tabs. Save the resulting image parts rather than expecting a single file. GoFullPage BETA listing.

Check whether the browser has granted the extension Downloads permission. GoFullPage describes that permission as necessary to save screenshots to disk. GoFullPage permissions.

An iframe is missing
Check the permission prompt for the frame-related access GoFullPage requests when needed. Without the relevant permissions, the iframe is not captured, although regular pages without iframes still work. GoFullPage permissions.
Availability and listing details
GoFullPage’s browser availability and distribution have changed: its site announced an official Firefox add-on on September 7, 2026, and said Chrome users were temporarily pointed to the BETA extension on September 1, 2026. Use the official browser store listing rather than an old download link. At the time of the current BETA Chrome listing, it reported version 8.9 and an update date of September 29, 2026; the separate original Chrome listing reported version 8.9 updated September 25, 2026.
