This is a desktop-browser emulation, not proof of how the site behaves on every actual phone.
Set a mobile viewport in Chrome DevTools
- Open the Indian ecommerce page in Chrome.
- Open DevTools, then click Toggle device toolbar. Device Toolbar opens with a responsive viewport by default.
- In Dimensions, choose a listed device or keep Responsive and enter the width and height you want to inspect.
- Wait for the page to reflow at the selected dimensions. Check that the page is showing the state you intend to capture, such as the product listing or product page.
Setting the viewport before capture matters: it lets the page lay itself out at the chosen mobile dimensions rather than merely cropping a desktop-sized page.
Capture the visible screen or the whole page
With Device Toolbar active, open DevTools’ More options menu and choose the capture command that matches your goal:
- Capture screenshot saves the currently visible viewport.
- Capture a full size screenshot captures the full page, including content outside the visible viewport.
Use the viewport capture when you need a specific screen-sized view. Use the full-size option when you need to review content further down the page. The two commands produce different capture extents; choose before saving rather than assuming a viewport screenshot includes the rest of the page.

Check location-dependent presentation carefully
If you suspect the page may vary by location, DevTools Device Mode includes Sensors controls that can simulate geolocation. You can use them to check whether the page changes when a location is simulated. Chrome’s documentation does not establish how any particular Indian ecommerce site responds to a given location, so treat this as an experiment, not a guarantee that pricing, availability, delivery information, or other content will change.
Know what mobile emulation can and cannot establish
Google describes Device Mode as a way to “approximate how a page looks and performs on a mobile device.” It is a first-order approximation: Chrome simulates the mobile experience from a desktop rather than running the page on a phone. That makes it useful for layout previews, but it is not definitive evidence of behavior involving actual device hardware or software. When those details matter, verify the page on a real phone.

ScreenshotNeo can capture a URL through one GET request and return an image or PDF. Its API accepts a viewport setting for mobile-sized captures; see the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options.
For example, this cURL request captures a page:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webpReplace the target URL with the ecommerce page you want to capture and use your API key. ScreenshotNeo can accept cookie or consent banners and remove more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and the response identifies the page verdict and billing status in headers. An MCP server provides screenshot tools for Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does a full-size screenshot include content below the current viewport?
Yes. In Chrome DevTools, choose “Capture a full size screenshot” rather than “Capture screenshot” to include content beyond the visible area.
Does Chrome Device Mode prove what every phone will display?
No. It approximates mobile presentation from a desktop. Check on an actual phone when device hardware or software could affect the result.
