There are two different ways to “loop” Tamil lessons on YouTube: repeat a playlist for yourself while watching, or broadcast prerecorded lessons continuously as a YouTube Live stream. The playlist Loop control does the first; it does not create a live broadcast. To reach viewers through Live, you need an eligible channel and an encoder workflow in YouTube Studio.
Repeat a Tamil lesson playlist while watching
YouTube’s playlist repeat control works the same way for Tamil lessons as for other videos; there is no Tamil-specific playback setting. This repeats the playlist for the person watching, not as a live event. YouTube’s playlist help describes the controls, though their position or wording may change.
- Open a video that belongs to the playlist.
- On a computer, expand the playlist panel and select the Loop control.
- On a phone, find the playlist control box beneath the video and use its Loop control.
- On a TV or game console, open the playback controls and choose Repeat until the playlist-repeat state is shown.
If you want only the current lesson to repeat, choose the single-video repeat option where the interface offers it. Check that playlist repeat—not just repeat-current-video—is active if you want the lessons to continue in sequence.
Broadcast prerecorded Tamil lessons as a YouTube Live stream
For viewers to see the playlist as a live event on your channel, send its video and audio through an encoder connected to YouTube’s Live Control Room. YouTube’s live streaming guide describes encoders as software or hardware that send a video feed. A playlist’s viewer-side Repeat button does not turn it into a broadcast.

1. Check channel eligibility
Make sure the channel is verified, livestreaming is enabled, and there are no current restrictions. YouTube says first-time livestream enablement can take up to 24 hours. Check the current requirements in YouTube’s livestreaming access guidance before planning an event.
2. Create the event and get the connection details
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go live.
- Create or schedule the event in the Live Control Room.
- Choose an encoder workflow, then copy the stream URL and stream key shown in the Live Control Room into that encoder.
Treat the stream key like a password: it connects an encoder to your channel’s broadcast. Do not share it publicly. YouTube’s encoder setup instructions cover the connection workflow.

3. Set the source to repeat, then check the output
Configure the playlist to repeat in the playback or encoder setup you choose. YouTube’s general encoder documentation does not provide a product-specific repeat procedure, so the exact steps depend on your encoder and source setup. Confirm the sequence starts again after the last lesson rather than stopping or leaving a gap.
Before going live, check the encoder preview, audio, picture, and the public watch page. Verify that the event can be opened on a phone as well as a computer, then monitor audio and video while the stream is running. When finished, stop sending the encoder feed. YouTube’s encoder troubleshooting and setup guidance covers stream preparation. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; do not rely on that guidance for an event lasting 12 hours or more.

Check rights before rebroadcasting lessons
Only include lessons, music, images, and other material for which you have the rights needed to broadcast it. YouTube’s Terms of Service require the provider to have rights needed for worldwide exploitation of live content. Its copyright guidance explains that a live stream may be interrupted or terminated when third-party content is detected and not addressed. The fact that a lesson is viewable on YouTube does not give you permission to retransmit it in your own live stream.
