That repeats the videos in order; YouTube’s documented controls do not promise to hide the transition screen between them, so a transition-free loop is not guaranteed.
Loop a playlist on YouTube
Start a video that belongs to the playlist, then use the controls for the playlist—not Autoplay, which chooses a related video after the current one ends.
Desktop
- Open a video in the playlist.
- Expand the playlist panel beside the video.
- Click the Loop control in the playlist box.
Android
- Start playing the playlist.
- Tap Loop in the playlist control box under the video.
- To change the setting to repeat only the current video, tap Loop again.
TV or game console
- Select the playlist and start a video.
- Open the playback controls.
- Choose Repeat until the control indicates Repeat • Playlist.
Control placement and labels can differ by device. YouTube’s instructions are in Loop videos or playlists on YouTube.
Will looping remove the transition screen?
No documented playlist-loop setting guarantees that. Loop repeats the selected sequence; it does not claim to suppress the screen shown between videos. The official YouTube Help and player documentation explain looping but do not describe a supported transition-screen suppression control. You may still see a transition between playlist videos.

Autoplay is a separate feature: it automatically plays another related video when the current one ends. For a fixed sequence, enable playlist Loop or Repeat rather than relying on Autoplay. See YouTube’s Autoplay videos guidance.
Loop an embedded playlist with the YouTube player API
If you manage a website with an embedded player, the YouTube IFrame Player API supports looping a playlist. Load the playlist in the player and enable looping with setLoop(true); the documented behavior returns to the first video after the last. The API does not document a way to suppress the inter-video transition screen.
