In Chrome on Windows, open the page, press Ctrl+P, choose Save as PDF as the destination, review the print preview, and save the file. A long webpage may span several PDF pages; check the preview for missing content and awkward page breaks before you rely on the result.
Save a long webpage as a PDF in Chrome
- Open the webpage in Chrome and wait for the content you need to load. If the page reveals content as you scroll, check that those sections have appeared before printing.
- Press Ctrl+P to open Chrome’s print preview. Google’s desktop instructions list Ctrl+P for Windows and Linux. Google Chrome Help: Print from Chrome
- In the destination control, select Save as PDF.
- Review the preview, including the final page. Use the available print settings if you need to adjust the result; which settings are available can vary.
- Click Save and choose a location if Chrome prompts you to do so.
What happens to a long page?
Chrome’s print flow uses a print preview and its available settings; Google’s instructions do not describe a special mode that turns every long webpage into one continuous, single-page sheet. A long page can flow across multiple PDF pages. The layout depends on how the site renders its printable content and on the settings available for that page, so check the preview rather than assuming every section, dynamic element, or embedded item will appear.
If the preview is incomplete, first confirm the page has finished loading. Then check whether the website provides its own print or download option. A site-specific option may produce a better result, but it is not a universal Chrome repair.
Choose where to save the PDF
Save it on your Windows computer
Save as PDF creates a local file. If Chrome uses its default download location and you have not changed it, Google lists Users<username>Downloads as the default on Windows 10 and later. Chrome’s download settings let you change the location or choose to be asked where to save each file. Google Chrome Help: Download a file

Save to Google Drive
Google documents a Drive destination in Chrome’s print flow. It requires the Save to Google Drive extension; the destination may be under See more. You can also save the PDF locally and upload it to Drive through the Drive website instead. Drive is optional: it is not needed to create a PDF on your computer. Google Chrome Help: Print from Chrome

If the result is not right
- Some content is missing: Wait for the page content to load, then reopen print preview. Check whether the site has its own print or download feature.
- The PDF has several pages: That can be expected for a long webpage. Inspect the page breaks and available print settings; Chrome’s documented workflow does not promise one continuous page.
- You cannot find the saved file: Check the location you selected. If you did not choose another location and Chrome’s download folder has not been changed, check
Users<username>Downloadson Windows 10 and later. - Save to Drive is not listed: Google’s documented print-preview route requires the Save to Google Drive extension. Alternatively, save as PDF locally and upload the file to Drive.
- You see “Save Page As” under More tools: That is a separate webpage-download feature, not the print-preview action for creating a PDF. Choose Ctrl+P and Save as PDF for the PDF workflow. Google Chrome Help: Download a file

More tools → Save Page As downloads a webpage; it is distinct from selecting Save as PDF in print preview. Use the latter when your goal is a PDF file.
