Use Firefox’s built-in Take Screenshot tool: open it with Command+Shift+S or from the page’s right-click menu, then choose Save full page. Download the image or copy it to the clipboard.
Capture the full page in Firefox
- Open the webpage in Firefox on your Mac.
- Open the screenshot tool by pressing Command+Shift+S, or right-click an empty area of the page and select Take Screenshot.
- Select Save full page to capture beyond the visible window. Choose Save visible if you only need what is currently on screen.
- Select Download to save the screenshot in Firefox’s default download folder, or select Copy to place it on the clipboard. You can also use Command+S to save or Command+C to copy.
Full-page Firefox screenshots versus Mac screen captures
macOS shortcuts capture the display rather than provide Firefox’s documented full-page webpage workflow. Use Command+Shift+3 for the screen, Command+Shift+4 to select a region, or Command+Shift+4 followed by the Space bar to capture a window. For a scrolling webpage, use Firefox’s Take Screenshot tool and choose Save full page.
Mozilla’s instructions document the full-page and visible-area choices, along with downloading or copying the result. They do not specify how full-page capture treats content that appears only after scrolling, embedded frames, or other site-specific behavior, so check the saved image when those details matter. See Mozilla’s Firefox screenshot instructions and its separate Mac screenshot instructions.

For automated captures, ScreenshotNeo offers a screenshot API: one GET request can return an image or PDF, and it also provides an MCP server for AI agents. Its capture workflow accepts cookie and consent banners and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before the shot; those steps can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, with the page verdict and billing status indicated in response headers.
