Can Livepush stream a YouTube playlist in shuffle order? Livepush’s public documentation describes uploaded videos playing back to back in a continuous stream, but does not document a shuffle option. Unless Livepush confirms a shuffle control for your account, assume the videos will play in their set order—not randomly.
How Livepush playlist playback works
Livepush describes its multi-video playlist feature as a queue of uploaded video files played back to back in one continuous live stream. It says the feature can be used for playlists of several videos and for 24/7 channels that loop or rotate content. Livepush also says it re-encodes uploaded videos to common encoding parameters to reduce glitches at transitions. See Livepush’s multi-video playlist documentation.
The cited documentation establishes sequential playback; it does not describe automatic randomization. That is a limit of what the published instructions establish, not proof that no unlisted, recently added, or account-specific control exists.
Is looping the same as shuffle?
No. Livepush’s looping guide says to turn on “Loop Video” so the playlist continues indefinitely until it is manually stopped. Looping repeats the sequence; shuffle would change the order of items. The guide does not say that looping randomizes playback. See Livepush’s looping guide.

Do not assume so. The cited Livepush workflow is based on video files uploaded to Livepush; it does not describe importing a YouTube playlist URL and shuffling its contents. YouTube’s help page explains how to manually reorder videos in a YouTube playlist by dragging them, but that does not establish control over a separate Livepush broadcast. Livepush lists YouTube as a supported destination, which confirms destination support—not shuffle support. Its supported destinations guide and YouTube’s live-stream settings documentation do not document a Livepush shuffle control.

What to do if you need random playback
- Ask Livepush support directly. Ask whether shuffle is available for uploaded multi-video playlists on your specific plan and account. The public instructions cited here do not settle whether an unlisted or newer option is available.
- Do not rely on looping or YouTube’s viewer-side shuffle. Looping repeats the configured playlist, while YouTube’s playlist editing instructions describe manual reordering—not random ordering of a Livepush broadcast.
- If support confirms no shuffle control, arrange the uploaded videos in the order you want them played. The cited documentation supports manual ordering as a practical option, but does not establish an automated shuffle workaround.
