To run a Hanuman Chalisa stream on YouTube around the clock, first enable live streaming on your channel, prepare audio and visuals you have rights to use, choose a streaming method, and test it while unlisted. For a do-it-yourself broadcast, an encoder on a computer sends the prepared media to YouTube, but that setup depends on the computer, power, internet connection and monitoring. YouTube may interrupt a live stream when it detects third-party content, so a 24/7 devotional broadcast needs both a restart plan and a rights plan.
How to run a 24/7 Hanuman Chalisa stream on YouTube
There are two practical approaches: run an encoder on a computer you keep online, or use a cloud service that streams uploaded videos. YouTube supports desktop and hardware encoders as well as webcam and mobile routes; an encoder is a sensible fit for prepared devotional audio with a static or designed visual. YouTube’s guidance recommends testing before launch, and does not establish that any route guarantees uninterrupted uptime.
This guide focuses on a prepared recording, not a live camera performance. Before planning an uninterrupted all-day broadcast, check YouTube Studio and current YouTube Live Help for applicable duration, DVR and archive limits; these limits are not established here, so do not assume a full-length replay will be retained.
1. Enable YouTube Live before the planned start
- Sign in to the channel that will host the broadcast and open YouTube Studio.
- Verify the channel and enable live streaming. YouTube for Artists advises first-time streamers to do this at least 24 hours before the planned broadcast. Confirm the channel’s current access and any restrictions in Studio, since requirements can change. YouTube for Artists: Going Live for Music Channels.
- Prepare the live event in YouTube Studio and choose an unlisted test first. YouTube’s creator guidance recommends a preflight test before launch. YouTube for Creators: Create Live Streams on YouTube.
2. Clear the actual audio and visual assets
Do not treat the age or religious significance of the Hanuman Chalisa text as permission to rebroadcast any recording. The words, a particular translation, musical arrangement, performance, sound recording, artwork, animation and video may involve different rights. The sources do not establish the copyright status of every version. Use material you created or have permission to use, and keep written records showing what your permission covers.

- Check the license for commercial use if you plan to monetize. YouTube says monetized content must be original and non-repetitious, and creators need commercial-use rights for included audio and visual elements. A copy that is free to download or purchased does not by itself establish those rights; public-domain status and license scope can vary. YouTube Help: What kind of content can I monetize?.
- If a rights holder licenses music used in the stream, ask whether your channel must be added to that owner’s Content ID allowlist. YouTube warns that a live stream may still be interrupted if the channel is not allowlisted, even when the content is licensed.
- Keep the permission and license details accessible while the stream is running, including the covered recording, channel, uses and any commercial-use terms.
3. Choose a way to send the prepared stream
Computer with a software encoder
A software encoder on an existing computer gives you control over the media and visual layout, but the computer, encoder and network must remain available for the broadcast. YouTube identifies desktop encoders as a supported route. Select an encoder you can configure and monitor; the cited guidance does not establish a specific recommended product, bitrate or reliability comparison.
Dedicated hardware encoder
YouTube also supports hardware encoders. A dedicated device can be a separate fixed-purpose option, but it is not required, and the cited guidance does not establish a best model or prove it is more reliable than a computer encoder. Consider your familiarity, control needs, power and cooling arrangements before choosing one.

Webcam or mobile route
YouTube lists webcam and mobile options as ways to go live. These routes may suit a camera-led broadcast better than a prepared, continuously looping recording. Confirm the current route’s capabilities and limitations in YouTube Studio before relying on it for an all-day stream.
4. Set up and test the encoder workflow
- Prepare the media. Assemble the rights-cleared audio and visual material. Check that the intended audio is present, at a consistent level, and not clipped. Make sure the visual is the one you intend viewers to see throughout the broadcast.
- Open the event in YouTube Studio. Use the Live Control Room to create or select the event, set its visibility to unlisted for testing, and obtain the stream details shown by YouTube.
- Enter the stream key in the encoder. Copy the key from the matching YouTube event into the encoder’s YouTube streaming destination. Treat it as private: anyone with access to the key may be able to send video to the event. Avoid sharing it or leaving it in public screenshots.
- Configure the encoder and start a test. Use settings supported by your encoder and the current YouTube guidance shown for the event. The sources cited here do not establish a recommended bitrate, resolution, frame rate or keyframe interval for this particular stream, so do not rely on invented figures; use the current platform and encoder instructions for your selected format.
- Check the test in the Live Control Room. Confirm the correct audio and picture arrive, listen for clipping or interruptions, and watch for encoder or connection warnings. Leave the test running long enough to reveal instability in your actual setup.
- Switch to the public event when ready. Start the broadcast and check YouTube Studio and the outgoing stream periodically for warnings, claims or connection failures.
5. Plan for copyright interruptions and recovery
YouTube scans all live streams for matches to third-party content. If it detects a match, it may warn the streamer; if the issue remains, the broadcast can be interrupted or terminated. - If YouTube warns about a match, follow the notice and stop or replace the affected material as appropriate. Do not assume that restarting with the same recording will resolve a rights issue.
- For licensed third-party music, resolve allowlisting with the rights holder before launch where needed; retain the response and permission details.
- For a local encoder setup, decide who will notice a stopped broadcast and how they will restart it. A computer sleep, power loss, network outage, encoder failure or YouTube interruption can end the feed; the sources do not support an uptime guarantee for any DIY route.
- If you choose to archive the stream, YouTube says Content ID claims on archived live streams are made after the stream ends. Verify current archive, DVR and duration limits separately rather than promising a full-day replay.

Costs and practical trade-offs
A local setup uses equipment and internet access you already have, but you remain responsible for keeping the sending computer or encoder powered, connected and monitored. A hardware encoder is optional, not a YouTube requirement. A managed cloud option shifts the always-on sending operation away from your home computer; compare its terms and cost with your own equipment and monitoring needs before deciding.

What audience and monetization expectations are reasonable?
YouTube for Artists reported that over 30% of daily logged-in YouTube viewers watched live content in Q2 2025. That is a platform-wide statistic for that quarter, not a forecast for a Hanuman Chalisa stream or an individual channel. Monetization also depends on channel eligibility, policy review and rights to the actual media; the age of a devotional text does not establish eligibility or commercial-use permission.
