You can send recorded JEE physics classes to YouTube as a livestream through an encoder workflow: prepare the recordings, connect an encoder to your YouTube stream key, and confirm the broadcast in YouTube Studio. YouTube documents encoder livestreaming, but its guidance does not specifically guarantee or pre-approve every continuous 24/7 prerecorded setup. Check channel eligibility and clear rights to every part of the recordings before you schedule a continuous stream.
Before you set up a 24/7 stream
YouTube’s documented technical route for sending a live feed is an encoder. A continuous prerecorded broadcast should be treated as an encoder-based workflow subject to YouTube’s general policies—not as a format YouTube has expressly pre-approved. YouTube’s guidance also does not specify a required computer configuration, encoder software, cloud provider, or India-specific bandwidth threshold. YouTube’s livestreaming overview is the place to check the current platform steps and requirements.
Check channel eligibility
- The channel must be verified.
- It must not have had a livestream restriction in the preceding 90 days.
- YouTube states that livestreamers must be at least 16 years old.
- The cited overview lists a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and three active streams per stream key. Plan within those limits if you intend to run more than one broadcast.
Do not build a schedule or invest in a setup until you have confirmed that livestreaming is available for your channel in YouTube Studio.
Clear rights for the complete class recordings
Make sure you have the necessary rights to the full recordings and every included element: spoken explanations, music, slides, diagrams, images, and video clips. A class recording can contain material owned by someone other than the instructor or channel, even if the lesson itself is original.

YouTube says it scans livestreams for matches to third-party content. If it identifies such material, it may replace the feed with a placeholder and warn the creator; if the material remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the stream. If you have a licence for third-party content, YouTube advises asking the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. See YouTube’s livestream copyright guidance.
Copyright strikes and other policy issues can also disable livestreaming. Do not use another channel to get around an active livestream restriction; YouTube prohibits that. Review the relevant livestream eligibility and policy guidance before broadcasting.
Set up the recorded-class livestream
The exact encoder controls depend on the software or hosted service you choose. YouTube’s cited overview does not prescribe a particular encoder or computer specification. The essential workflow is to make the recordings available to the encoder, connect it to the correct channel stream key, and verify the outgoing feed in YouTube Studio.
- Prepare the videos. Organize the class recordings in the order students should watch them. Check that each file plays correctly and that the audio is audible. Confirm rights for all material before adding it to a continuous playlist.
- Confirm live access in YouTube Studio. Sign in to the intended channel and make sure it is verified and eligible to livestream. If the channel cannot start a live stream, resolve that issue before proceeding.
- Create or configure the live stream in YouTube Studio. Choose the appropriate stream details and visibility for your teaching use. Locate the stream key for that broadcast. Treat the key like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to the stream.
- Configure an encoder. Select the prepared class file or playlist as its source and enter the YouTube stream key in the encoder’s stream settings. If you use a local encoder, the computer and its internet connection must remain available for the broadcast to continue. YouTube does not establish a mandatory software package or India-specific connection speed for this use case.
- Start the feed and verify it. Start the encoder, then check YouTube Studio’s stream preview and status before relying on the broadcast. Confirm that both picture and sound are present and that the intended recording is playing.
- Check continuity and playlist behavior. Observe what happens when a recording ends and the next one begins. If you need the stream to run continuously, confirm that the chosen workflow actually advances through the intended recordings and resumes as expected after a disconnection.
Keep the stream key private, use only a channel authorized to broadcast the material, and periodically check the live output rather than assuming that a 24/7 schedule is still playing correctly.
Choose where the encoder runs
A local encoder uses equipment you control; a hosted encoder runs the stream from a service’s infrastructure. The official YouTube documentation cited here does not compare the approaches or establish which is more reliable or economical. When evaluating a setup, consider who is responsible for continuity, how it recovers after a disconnection, whether it supports prerecorded playlists, how account and stream-key access are protected, and the total cost.
- Local equipment: You control the computer and encoder, but the equipment and its internet connection must stay on for the stream to continue.
- Hosted encoder: The service may run the stream independently of your home computer, but check its supported workflow, recovery behavior, access controls, and full cost before relying on it.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload the recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It loops the uploaded videos in the cloud, so no computer or home connection has to stay on. StreamNeo is for YouTube streams; it does not broadcast to other platforms.

Troubleshoot common problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check or do |
|---|---|---|
| You cannot start a livestream | The channel may not be verified, may have a recent livestream restriction, or may not meet YouTube’s age requirement. | Check livestream access and account eligibility in YouTube Studio. Do not attempt to bypass an active restriction using another channel. |
| YouTube shows a placeholder or warns about content | The livestream scan may have matched third-party material in the recording. | Check all video, audio, image, and slide rights. If you hold a licence, ask the rights owner about adding the channel to its Content ID allowlist. |
| The stream is interrupted or terminated | YouTube may have identified third-party content, or a policy issue may have affected livestream access. | Review the warning and the stream’s content. Resolve rights issues and check channel eligibility before restarting. |
| The live feed stops when you leave | A locally hosted encoder depends on the computer and its internet connection remaining available. | Check that the computer, encoder, and connection are still running, or evaluate a hosted workflow that supports the intended playlist and recovery needs. |
| The wrong class appears or the playlist does not advance | The encoder source or playlist sequence may not be configured as intended. | Verify the selected files and order, then monitor transitions in YouTube Studio before treating the stream as continuous. |
| The stream does not appear to receive the intended feed | The encoder may be using an incorrect stream key or stream configuration. | Compare the encoder’s destination and key with the stream configured in YouTube Studio. Keep the key private; if it may have been exposed, replace it in Studio and update the encoder. |
Policy and audience considerations for JEE classes
A livestream is still subject to YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. A 24/7 schedule does not change the need for rights clearance or make every prerecorded format automatically acceptable. Make the channel and stream details clear to students, and check the actual live output and policy notifications during operation. YouTube’s cited guidance provides no JEE-specific or India-specific audience, bandwidth, cost, or success figures, so avoid treating any such number as an official requirement or expected result.
