Yes. GrabzIt can capture pages at mobile and tablet browser widths. For a mobile-specific capture, request the mobile version as well as setting the browser width; a width change by itself may not trigger a site’s mobile layout. GrabzIt says that if a site has no mobile version, it displays the standard website.
How responsive capture works
Responsive pages can change their layout according to the browser viewport. GrabzIt lets you set the browser width used for a capture, and its mobile option can request a mobile version from the target site. These settings affect how the page is rendered; output image dimensions are separate controls.
The mobile request is not a guarantee of a distinct mobile design. In GrabzIt’s JavaScript API example, a PNG mobile capture uses requestas: 1 and bwidth: 320. The support article describes the equivalent setting as requesting mobile and recommends a browser width of 320 pixels. These are GrabzIt’s configuration recommendations, not universal device standards. Check the option names for the client library you use.

Tablet
For a tablet-width capture, omit the mobile request and set the browser width to the size you want to inspect. GrabzIt suggests 768 pixels as a starting point. As with mobile, choose the width based on the layout or breakpoint you need to check rather than treating the suggested value as a universal tablet size.

Other responsive widths
Set the browser width to the viewport you want to inspect. A width change may cause a responsive layout to reflow, but it does not necessarily request a mobile version. To check a specific breakpoint, capture at that exact width and compare the rendered page.
Choose the capture area and output size
Browser size controls the rendering window; output width and height control the resulting image dimensions. Changing the output size is not the same as changing the viewport used to render the page.

For a full-page capture, GrabzIt’s ASP.NET API documentation specifies BrowserHeight set to -1 and OutputWidth and OutputHeight set to -1 to capture the full page at browser scale. Confirm the equivalent option names and behavior in the client library you use. GrabzIt ASP.NET API documentation
How to check a responsive screenshot
- Choose the rendering mode. For a mobile-specific request, use the mobile request option. For tablet or other responsive checks, use an ordinary browser viewport at the width you want.
- Set the browser width. GrabzIt suggests 320 pixels for mobile and 768 pixels as a tablet starting point; use another width when you need to inspect a particular breakpoint.
- Decide whether you need a viewport or full-page image. Configure capture extent and output dimensions separately from the browser width.
- Inspect the result. If a mobile request still shows the standard design, the target may not have a mobile version. A width-only capture may also leave the page in its standard design if the site’s behavior does not change at that width.

Troubleshooting
The capture shows the desktop or standard design
- For a mobile-specific capture, check that the mobile request option is enabled as well as the browser width.
- Confirm whether the target offers a mobile version. GrabzIt notes that without one, the standard site is shown.
- For a responsive breakpoint check, use the intended viewport width; do not assume that requesting mobile and changing width are interchangeable.
The screenshot has unexpected dimensions
- Check browser width separately from output width and height. They control different parts of the capture.
- If you need the full page, use the full-page settings documented for your client library. The ASP.NET documentation uses a browser height and output width and height of
-1.
