There is no independently tested winner among the Indian VPS options surfaced for this use. NivoHost, Endercloud, and VyomCloud are a practical shortlist based on provider-published plan details, not verified 24/7 stream performance. Choose by your target bitrate, monthly data allowance, sustained route to YouTube, recovery options, and total cost—not by server location or a headline port speed alone.

If you want to stream an uploaded recording or playlist without administering a server, StreamNeo is the cloud alternative to try first: it loops prerecorded video to YouTube, always on from the cloud, at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, with the first day free.

What a VPS can—and cannot—do for a 24/7 prerecorded stream

A VPS can run an encoder that sends an already-recorded video or playlist to YouTube continuously. That is different from producing a live camera program: a prerecorded stream may simply pass through an encoded file, while compositing graphics, mixing sources, or converting video in real time requires additional software and server resources.

Do not assume that a VPS able to transmit a file can also encode it at your chosen resolution and frame rate. If you plan to transcode or compose in real time, verify the CPU or GPU capability and test that workload separately.

Indian VPS providers to shortlist

The following are public offer snapshots reported by iTechGuides on October 3, 2026. Prices, specifications, and uptime figures are provider-listing claims relayed by that comparison; they are not independent performance tests or proof that a plan sustained a 24/7 stream. Confirm current availability, renewal pricing, taxes, terms, and included traffic with each provider before buying.

Provider Published plan snapshot What to verify
NivoHost Starting plan listed at ₹699/month; one stream handle; 360p at 10 fps; 4 GB RAM; 20 TB bandwidth. The comparison reports a provider-stated 99% uptime claim. Current price and renewal price, actual server location, what “bandwidth” means, terms, and what the uptime claim covers.
Endercloud Mumbai plan listed from ₹999/month; 3 vCores, 8 GB RAM, 50 GB NVMe, 2 TB bandwidth, and a stated 1 Gbps network. Whether the workload is permitted and what the monthly transfer allowance, overage, and fair-use rules are. A 1 Gbps port speed is not the same as a 1 Gbps monthly allowance.
VyomCloud Mumbai options listed at ₹360/month (1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 0.5 TB traffic, 100 Mbps); ₹1,040/month (2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 2 TB, 250 Mbps); and ₹1,600/month (4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 5 TB, 250 Mbps). The comparison also reports a provider-advertised latency figure and 99.5% uptime SLA. Current plan details, actual route and sustained throughput, and the SLA scope and remedies. The latency and SLA figures were not independently measured in the comparison.

These figures do not establish a current price ranking or a guaranteed stream result. The comparison does not provide independent route measurements, SLA terms, or a confirmed stream run for these providers.

Calculate the bandwidth before choosing a plan

The monthly data allowance is separate from the network port speed. For planning, a constant 1 Mbps sent continuously for 30 days uses about 324 GB in decimal units, before protocol overhead. Multiply that estimate by the video bitrate in Mbps:

Continuous bitrate Approximate transfer per 30 days
8 Mbps 2.59 TB
10 Mbps 3.24 TB
17 Mbps 5.51 TB

These are arithmetic estimates, not provider measurements. Allow for protocol overhead and other traffic, and check whether the provider counts traffic in both directions, throttles usage, charges overages, or applies fair-use limits. For example, Endercloud’s listed 2 TB allowance is below the simple 30-day estimate for an 8 Mbps continuous stream.

Match the VPS to YouTube’s encoder settings

YouTube’s encoder guidance supports RTMP/RTMPS and lists H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1. It recommends constant bitrate encoding, allows up to 60 fps, and recommends a two-second keyframe interval, which should not exceed four seconds. YouTube advises choosing a quality the connection can reliably sustain and testing with representative audio and motion. Use YouTube’s current live encoder settings and bitrate table for the codec and resolution you select; do not mix recommendations across codecs.

YouTube’s published recommended H.264 video bitrates include:

Resolution and frame rate Recommended H.264 video bitrate
720p30 8 Mbps
720p60 8 Mbps
1080p30 10 Mbps
1080p60 17 Mbps
1440p30 21 Mbps
1440p60 34 Mbps
2160p30 42 Mbps
2160p60 50 Mbps

These are YouTube’s recommended H.264 video rates, not a guarantee that a VPS or route can sustain them. The total stream bitrate must fit the available upload capacity. YouTube recommends 20% network headroom and warns that a connectivity disruption can break a stream. See its encoder guidance and streaming tips. Test from the intended server and monitor stream health during transmission.

Checks to make before ordering

  1. Define the workload. Decide whether the VPS will send an already encoded file or transcode and compose in real time. Confirm that the plan’s resources and permitted-use terms fit the actual software.
  2. Calculate transfer. Estimate monthly use from your target bitrate and runtime, then compare it with the plan’s included allowance. Ask about fair use, throttling, overage charges, and traffic accounting.
  3. Test the sustained outbound path. Confirm the server’s actual location, test its route to YouTube ingest, and check sustained upload stability and packet loss. A port-speed label or an India location alone does not demonstrate reliable delivery.
  4. Plan for recovery. Ask how the encoder restarts after a process crash, server reboot, or network interruption. Find out whether monitoring, alerts, and automatic restart are included or must be configured.
  5. Compare the complete cost and workload. Include tax, licenses, storage, traffic, backups, support, and the time required to install and maintain the encoder.

Configure YouTube access securely

YouTube’s setup documentation requires the encoder’s stream URL and stream key. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it, include it in public scripts, or share it with people who do not need access. If it is exposed, use YouTube’s stream-management controls to replace or reset it. Follow YouTube’s live stream setup instructions for the current interface.

Streaming prerecorded material does not remove your responsibility to have rights to the video and audio. Review YouTube’s copyright rules and monetization policies for reused content before scheduling a continuous stream; permission to use material and eligibility for monetization are separate questions.
