Yes. One Google Account can manage up to 100 YouTube channels, so you can run two internet radio channels under one login. To broadcast both at once, set up a separate live stream for each channel and select the correct channel identity for each stream. YouTube’s documented limits apply per channel and per stream key—not as a special restriction on having two channels under one account.
How two channels under one Google Account work
A Google Account is the login; each YouTube channel has its own public identity, videos and live events. YouTube lets one Google Account manage up to 100 channels. Its channel switcher selects one channel at a time, so you must switch to the channel you intend to manage before creating or scheduling its broadcast. YouTube’s channel-switching guidance explains the account limit and switching behavior.
Personal channel or Brand Account
A personal channel is tied to your Google Account identity. A Brand Account channel can use a different public name and can be managed by multiple people. Choose based on who should appear as the station and who needs access; neither option is a prerequisite for operating two channels. See YouTube’s channel-management guidance and channel creation instructions.

Yes, provided each channel is eligible to livestream and each broadcast is configured for the intended channel. YouTube documents up to 10 active streams per channel and up to 3 active streams per stream key. These are separate limits; they do not mean one stream automatically broadcasts to two channel identities. YouTube does not state a specific account-wide throughput allowance for two simultaneous channel broadcasts, so your encoder, internet connection or cloud service must also be capable of sending both feeds reliably. See YouTube’s live-streaming guidance.

Set up each internet radio channel
- Create the second channel. In YouTube’s channel-management flow, create another channel under the same signed-in Google Account. Use a Brand Account if the station needs a distinct public name or shared management. Follow YouTube’s channel creation instructions.
- Check eligibility for each channel. YouTube requires channel verification and no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. Livestreamers must be at least 16. If livestreaming is being enabled for the first time, activation can take up to 24 hours. Check the live status of both channels rather than assuming eligibility carries over from one to the other. Details are in YouTube’s eligibility guidance and encoder setup instructions.
- Switch to the first station’s channel. In YouTube, select the channel from the account switcher, then open YouTube Studio and confirm the channel name and avatar before creating or scheduling its live event. Repeat these checks after switching to the second channel. The switcher manages one channel identity at a time.
- Create a distinct live event for each station. Use a separate event and the stream key associated with the intended channel. Start each broadcast from the matching channel’s stream setup. Keep each channel and stream key within YouTube’s active-stream limits.
- Choose an encoder or cloud workflow. YouTube accepts encoder-based streams; encoders can be software or standalone hardware, and hardware is not mandatory. If you need to send a stream to multiple destinations, YouTube describes local and cloud encoder approaches, but that is a routing choice—not a requirement for having two channels. See encoder setup and YouTube’s multi-platform streaming guidance.
Get music rights before putting a radio stream on YouTube
Having two channels does not grant permission to broadcast music. You are responsible for securing the necessary rights for the recordings, compositions, territories and live-stream use. YouTube says live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content; a detected match can result in interruption or termination. Even if you have a license, ask the rights holder whether the channel must be allowlisted in Content ID so a licensed broadcast is not mistakenly interrupted. Read YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and its livestream terms.
Do not assume Creator Music covers a live radio stream: YouTube’s Creator Music FAQ says its licensing does not currently support live content.

When to use a cloud service for a 24/7 station
For a station that needs continuous prerecorded programming, a cloud service can keep the broadcast running without relying on a computer at home. StreamNeo is one YouTube-only option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add the channel’s YouTube stream key, and go live. Its cloud service loops uploaded videos and can recover automatically if YouTube drops the stream. It does not broadcast from a camera. See StreamNeo.
Or let it run in the cloud
Use a separate StreamNeo setup for each station you want to run: upload its video or playlist, add that channel’s YouTube stream key, then go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; uploaded video streams as made up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly service is $9.99 per month. Start your free day with StreamNeo.
