Set up a finite loop in OneStream Live
- Connect YouTube: In the OneStream dashboard, open Social Platforms, choose Add Platform or Connect beside YouTube, select the correct account and channel, then authorize the connection. Confirm that the channel appears among connected platforms. OneStream’s YouTube setup guide
- Start a prerecorded stream: From the dashboard, choose Pre-recorded Stream, then Add Videos.
- Add the bhajan recording: Choose the prepared file from your device, OneStream storage, or supported cloud storage.
- Set the loop count: Enter how many times the video should play. OneStream’s help article states that the maximum is 60 plays.
- Choose the destination: Continue to social destinations and select the connected YouTube channel.
- Enter stream details and schedule: Complete the stream information and schedule the broadcast. OneStream describes the video as repeating during that broadcast. OneStream’s loop instructions
The mobile flow is similar: select Pre-recorded Stream, add or select the video, set the loops, pick YouTube, enter the details, and schedule.
Choose a playlist or 24/7 mode when one video is not enough

Schedule OneStream’s 24/7 option

Clear music rights before going live
YouTube’s livestream terms put responsibility on the person streaming to have the necessary rights for the live content, including music rights. The relevant license must cover the intended stream and territory; consider separately whether it covers an archived recording and monetization. YouTube Livestream terms and conditions
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it identifies a match, it may issue a warning, replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate it. A license may not by itself prevent interruption: YouTube says the rights holder may need to add the channel to its Content ID allowlist. The recording and the underlying musical work can involve different rights, so a devotional theme or a video already circulating online does not establish permission to rebroadcast it. Using streaming software does not make a loop eligible for monetization. YouTube’s reused-content policy addresses repurposed material that lacks significant original commentary, substantive modification, or educational or entertainment value, and its review is at the channel level. A simple loop should not be assumed to qualify. Troubleshoot common setup problems
- YouTube does not appear as a destination: Return to Social Platforms, connect the intended YouTube account and channel, and confirm it is listed among connected platforms before creating the scheduled stream.
- You cannot livestream from the channel: Check that the channel is verified and has had no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days.
- The stream stops after a limited number of plays: The single-video loop control is finite, with a documented maximum of 60 plays. For continuous programming, OneStream’s separate 24/7 option has its own plan and duration conditions.
- YouTube interrupts or replaces the stream: Check YouTube’s copyright notification and the rights status for the specific recording. If you have a license, ask the rights holder about Content ID allowlisting for your channel.
- The uploaded file is rejected or plays incorrectly: Compare it with OneStream’s published format, resolution, codec, frame-rate, and bitrate recommendations; re-export a compatible copy if needed.
