OneStream Live: documented 24/7 operation, preview unconfirmed
OneStream Live’s help instructions describe a 24/7 workflow for YouTube only. The article updated September 3, 2026, says the workflow requires Enterprise and allows a maximum duration of 30 days. OneStream also describes playlist streaming and scheduling, but the reviewed instructions do not establish a control for previewing the fully assembled playlist before it goes live. Ask OneStream to confirm that precise step before choosing it if preview is non-negotiable.

What YouTube’s preview does—and does not—show
YouTube Live Control Room’s preview is a view of the incoming encoder feed, not a documented way to edit or inspect a cloud-hosted playlist before scheduling. The official Google/YouTube production guide says, “When ready to go Live, start your encoder and once we have received your stream a preview will appear.” YouTube’s Live Streaming API overview likewise describes a monitor stream for previewing and testing a broadcast.
Use that preview to verify the signal YouTube is receiving from an encoder. It does not establish that a prerecorded playlist has been assembled correctly or that a service will loop it continuously.
