For a prerecorded YouTube channel that should stay live continuously, LiveReacting is the closer fit of these two: its dedicated 24/7 plan says streams run until you stop them and playlists loop from its cloud servers. Restream supports prerecorded events and playlists, but its published limits—up to 10 replays for a scheduled video and a maximum playlist length of 24 hours—do not establish an indefinite loop.
If you want a cloud-based alternative built specifically around keeping uploaded videos live on YouTube, StreamNeo is another option to consider.
At a glance: which service fits an always-on channel?
| Service | Fit for continuous prerecorded YouTube | Published constraints and strengths | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Designed to keep uploaded videos live on YouTube from the cloud. | One always-on stream per slot, 24/7 looping and playlists, 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, and uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot. First day is free, no card required. | Creators whose priority is an ongoing prerecorded YouTube stream without leaving a computer running. |
| LiveReacting | Closest documented match among the two compared services: its 24/7 plan says a stream runs until stopped and playlists loop. | Plan lists 100 GB storage and a 10 GB maximum individual file; the 24/7 plan lists five destinations. The vendor describes server-side streaming. | Creators who want a dedicated 24/7 plan and need the documented storage or destination capacity. |
| Restream | Supports scheduled prerecorded events and playlists, but the reviewed official help pages do not establish an indefinite playlist loop. | Playlists may be up to 24 hours long; a scheduled video can be replayed up to 10 times. Playlist tiers are Marathon and Media. | Creators focused on live-show multistreaming or scheduled prerecorded events rather than a documented indefinite playlist. |
These are vendor-published capabilities, not independent uptime results. None of the reviewed material provides comparative reliability measurements or service-level evidence.
How the stream behavior differs
LiveReacting: a dedicated continuous-stream plan
LiveReacting’s 24/7 YouTube streaming page describes a cloud-hosted stream that runs until the operator stops it, with playlist looping. Its setup flow is to upload prerecorded videos or music, connect a YouTube channel or stream key, build a playlist, and start or schedule the stream on the vendor’s servers. The computer used for setup does not need to remain on once the cloud stream is running.

The continuous-stream claim describes LiveReacting’s service behavior; it does not override YouTube’s own policies or guarantee that a stream will never be interrupted.
Restream: scheduled events and bounded playlists
Restream’s Upload & Stream feature supports scheduled prerecorded videos and playlists. Its help documentation separates two limits: an individual scheduled video can be replayed up to 10 times, and a playlist can be up to 24 hours long. The 24-hour playlist cap is not the same as proof that the playlist repeats indefinitely.

LiveReacting’s pricing page lists its 24/7 plan at $39.99 per month, or $33 per month when billed yearly. The plan lists 100 GB of storage, a 10 GB maximum per file, and five destinations.

Restream playlist tiers and channel limits
Restream’s playlist help page lists Marathon at $79 per month and Media at $239 per month. Marathon lists a four-hour video library; Media lists a 12-hour library and 4K. Playlists require one of these Upload & Stream tiers, according to that page.
Separately, Restream’s premium-features plan help lists active-channel limits of two on Free, three on Standard, five on Professional, eight on Business, and 25 or more on Enterprise. These limits concern active channels for multistreaming; they do not replace the playlist and library limits above.

For Restream
Use Upload & Stream to schedule prerecorded events or create a playlist, and plan around the published replay and playlist limits. Do not treat a scheduled event or a playlist lasting up to 24 hours as a documented forever-looping channel.
Which should you choose?
- Choose LiveReacting if your deciding requirement is a documented 24/7 prerecorded stream with a playlist loop that runs until you stop it, and its listed storage, file-size and destination limits suit your channel.
- Choose Restream if your main goal is multistreaming live shows and its destination-plan structure matters more than an indefinite prerecorded loop. For prerecorded content, account for its 24-hour playlist cap and 10-replay limit.
- Consider StreamNeo first for a straightforward YouTube-only always-on stream: it runs uploaded videos from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and gives the first day free.
Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. The cloud keeps the stream running, so no computer or home connection has to stay on. Each slot supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one price, and StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, and the monthly option is $9.99 per month.
