Use your browser’s print controls to save the timetable webpage as a PDF—no physical printer or paid conversion app is required. Choose the steps for your device below, then open the saved PDF and check that every day, period, label, and note is visible and readable before printing.
Save the timetable as a PDF on a computer with Chrome
- Open the school timetable page in Chrome and wait for it to load.
- Open the print dialog using File → Print, press Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or press Command+P on Mac.
- In the destination controls, select Save as PDF.
- Review the print preview for missing timetable content, then save the PDF.
- Open the saved file and check all rows and columns before sending it to a printer.
Google documents these desktop print controls and shortcuts in its Chrome printing instructions for computers. The preview matters: the browser saves its print output, and a school page may not lay out like the on-screen timetable.
Save it from Chrome on Android
- Open the timetable in Chrome and let the page finish loading.
- Tap More → Share → Print.
- In the print destination controls, choose Save as PDF.
- Choose where to save the file and save it from print preview.
- Open the PDF and confirm the timetable is complete and legible.
Google describes this workflow in its Chrome printing instructions for Android. You do not need to connect a physical printer to create the PDF.
Save it from Safari on iPhone
- Open the timetable webpage in Safari.
- Tap the page menu or Share; the entry point depends on Safari’s tab layout.
- Tap Markup, then tap Done.
- Choose Save File To, enter a filename, and save the PDF.
- Open the saved file and inspect the timetable before printing.

Check the PDF before printing
- Make sure every day, period, row, and column appears; look for content cut off at page edges or moved onto another page.
- Check small labels and notes at the PDF’s normal viewing size, not only while zoomed in.
- If the timetable spans pages, confirm that headings and day labels still make clear which periods belong together.
- Paper size and orientation depend on the timetable and any instructions from the school. The browser guides do not establish one India-wide format for school timetables.
If the PDF is blank or incomplete
Rows, columns, or notes are missing
Check the school website for a dedicated Download, Export, or Print option; it may produce a more suitable version than the browser’s webpage print output. If the site has no such option, try opening print preview only after the full timetable is visible.
The timetable has not appeared or is still loading
Wait for the page and timetable to finish loading before printing. On a portal that requires login, confirm that you are signed in and can see the timetable first. If the page generates timetable content dynamically, a print preview opened too early may not include it.

The school page still will not print correctly
Ask the school for its official printable timetable. Browser print instructions explain how to save a page as PDF, but do not guarantee complete output from every interactive school portal.
