First, confirm which extension you mean: the available documentation does not establish that the Chrome extension mentioned in a Urlbox article is a Urlbox product. Check the Chrome Web Store listing for the add-on’s exact name and publisher before following extension-specific instructions. If you use Urlbox’s screenshot API instead, set full_page to true and try its default stitch mode.
Identify the extension before changing settings
Urlbox documents a screenshot-rendering service and full-page API options. A Urlbox article mentions a “Full Page Screenshot” Chrome extension, but does not identify it as a Urlbox product. The available sources therefore do not verify the extension’s publisher, settings, or behavior. Urlbox’s Chrome screenshot guide and its service site describe separate things; neither establishes that a particular Chrome add-on is made by Urlbox.
- Open the extension’s Chrome Web Store listing and note its exact name and publisher.
- Record the extension version and your Chrome version.
- Check whether the output is only the visible viewport, stops at a consistent height, misses content that loads while scrolling, or duplicates sticky headers.
Those details determine whether the problem is with the extension, the page, or a full-page capture limit. Without the exact listing and failure pattern, extension-specific menu directions would be guesswork.
Try Chrome’s built-in full-size screenshot
For a one-off capture, Urlbox describes using Chrome DevTools’ “Capture full-size screenshot” command. Content that loads only when scrolled into view may not appear unless you scroll through the page first. See Urlbox’s DevTools walkthrough.

- Open the page in Chrome and scroll down through it so lazy-loaded content has a chance to appear.
- Open Chrome DevTools.
- Open the DevTools command menu.
- Search for and choose Capture full-size screenshot.
If the result is still incomplete, note whether the missing content was visible before capture. A page may load images or other elements only as you reach them; a full-size capture does not necessarily trigger that behavior by itself.
If you use Urlbox’s API, configure full-page capture
Urlbox’s documented API option is full_page: true. Its default full-page mode is stitch: Urlbox describes it as scrolling the page, triggering animations and lazy-loaded content, capturing sections, and stitching those sections together. Urlbox says stitch is more reliable across most sites than native mode. Its alternative, native, is faster, but Urlbox warns it “may not work well across all websites.” Full-page options are documented here.

Tune scrolling when content is missing
- Do not set
skip_scrollif scrolling is needed to trigger lazy loading. - Try a smaller
scroll_incrementif content appears only after gradual scrolling. - Increase
scroll_delayif the page needs more time to load images or animations between scrolls.
These are Urlbox API settings, not verified controls in the unidentified Chrome extension. The appropriate values depend on the page; the cited documentation does not establish a universal setting that fixes every site.
Inspect section boundaries and capture limits
Enable show_seams to inspect the sections used in a stitched result and locate where content goes missing or repeats. If the image cuts off early, check configured limits such as max_sections and max_section_height, along with any maximum-height setting used by your request. Urlbox’s render-options reference lists a default section height of 4096 pixels; that is a technical default, not a guarantee that every page will fit in one section. What to include when asking for help
If the problem persists, share a reproducible example with the extension developer or support contact. Include the page URL if it is safe to share, the extension’s exact store listing and version, your Chrome version, and whether the failure is truncation, missing dynamically loaded content, or duplicated sticky elements. The issue cannot be pinned on a particular extension or website without those details.
