To play music between videos in a LiveReacting stream, add an Audio Playlist layer, select and arrange your tracks, and set the playlist to loop or stop at the end. Keep the videos in a separate Video Playlist layer. Before streaming to YouTube, verify that your music license permits live-stream use; availability for ordinary videos does not automatically grant that right.
Add an Audio Playlist layer
- In LiveReacting Studio, click New Layer in the sidebar.
- Choose Audio, then Audio Playlist. The file manager opens so you can select available audio files.
- Use Add audio files to add tracks. They are added in the order selected.
LiveReacting’s Audio Playlists Component documentation describes this layer as a way to queue multiple audio files to play back-to-back during a live broadcast.
Arrange tracks and set playback
Choose the order
Drag the handle beside a track to change its position in the playlist. The sidebar also provides controls to play, rename, or remove tracks.
Decide whether the music repeats
Enable Play in loop to restart the playlist after its final track. Turn it off if playback should stop when the last track ends. LiveReacting’s current component documentation says looping is enabled by default.

Flowing or frozen RGB color rotation in a decent pace presents a greatly strong impression as a "light show" to your audience. Even a streaming equipment accessory will not be dull looking when video production.
Set the volume and track display
Adjust the playlist volume in the sidebar. The documented control uses a 0–10 scale, defaults to 6, and increasing the volume above zero unmutes the layer. If you want viewers to see what is playing, enable the current track name; you can also show a progress bar or cover image and customize the track-name style.
Keep the videos in a separate layer
Use a Video Playlist layer for the videos and an Audio Playlist layer for the music. The video playlist queues videos in order and can loop or switch to another scene when it ends. See LiveReacting’s Video Playlists Component documentation for its behavior.

A scene can have only one audio source at a time according to LiveReacting’s Audio Playlists documentation. If the scene already contains an Audio File or another Audio Playlist layer, the Audio Playlist option is unavailable. Remove or replace the existing audio source before adding the playlist. If the same playlist should appear in multiple scenes, pin the layer; LiveReacting’s setup guide covers adding an Audio Playlist to a stream.
Check music rights before going live on YouTube
Confirm that the license covers the exact use you plan: live streaming on the chosen platform, monetization if applicable, your territory, attribution requirements, and any replay or video-on-demand (VOD). A “royalty-free” label by itself does not establish permission for all of these uses.

Creator Music is not for live streams
YouTube’s Creator Music usage details say Creator Music tracks cannot be used in live streams or Shorts. The page also describes availability for creators in the YouTube Partner Program in the U.S., with expansion beyond the U.S. pending. Do not assume a track listed for use in a long-form video is permitted in a livestream.
Review Audio Library terms track by track
YouTube says its Audio Library in YouTube Studio contains production music and sound effects that it considers copyright-safe for YouTube. Some tracks use Creative Commons terms and require attribution; check the information provided for each track. YouTube cautions that it cannot vouch for music from other libraries or channels, so check those sources’ terms and confirm they cover your stream and any replay.

Troubleshoot common setup problems
- Audio Playlist is unavailable: The scene may already have an Audio File or Audio Playlist layer. A scene supports only one audio source at a time; remove or replace the existing source.
- Tracks play in the wrong order: Drag each track using the handle beside it to put the playlist in the intended sequence.
- The playlist stops after its final track: Turn on Play in loop if you want it to start over.
- The music is silent: Check the playlist’s sidebar volume. The documented scale runs from 0 to 10, and raising it above zero unmutes the layer.
- The music does not appear in another scene: Pin the playlist layer if it should appear across multiple scenes.
- You are unsure whether a track is permitted: Check the track-specific terms for live use, platform, monetization, territory, attribution, and VOD rather than relying on a general label.
