If every lesson starts with the same intro card, OBS will repeat it because the card is part of each video file. Make intro-free copies of the lessons, then loop those files as a playlist. If the card is a separate OBS source, keep it separate from the lesson videos and show it only when intended. OBS has no documented automatic intro-card detector or remover.
First identify where the intro card comes from
The card is part of each lesson video
Open a lesson file and check whether the card appears in the video itself. If it does, a playlist loop will replay it along with the rest of that file. Edit the originals or export intro-free copies, then use those prepared files in your playlist. If you want one opening card for the broadcast, keep it as a separate asset rather than including it at the start of every lesson. This follows from how OBS plays media; its documentation does not describe a feature that detects or removes repeated intros. OBS Media Sources documentation
The card is a separate OBS source
Inspect the scene containing the card and check that source’s visibility and playback behavior. Keep it separate from the lesson playlist and show it only at the point you want it. OBS provides source visibility controls, but does not prescribe a particular lesson-stream setup.

Decide the lesson order and gather the prepared files. Check that each file plays correctly before adding the playlist.
Use VLC Video for multiple lessons

Install VLC. OBS’s VLC Video source requires VLC, and 64-bit OBS requires 64-bit VLC.

In OBS, add a VLC Video source to the scene where lessons should appear.

Add the prepared lesson files to the source’s playlist in the order you want them to play.

Enable Loop Playlist so OBS returns to the beginning after the final lesson.

Preview the sequence, including the transition from the final lesson back to the first. Confirm that no intro card appears between lessons unless you intended it.
OBS documents VLC Video as a playlist source. Its documented setup and controls are described in the Media Sources guide.
Use Media Source for one repeating file
If the stream uses just one lesson video, add it as a Media Source and enable its Loop option. This repeats that file; it does not remove an intro card embedded in it. For a sequence of lessons, use VLC Video and Loop Playlist instead. OBS Media Sources documentation

Preview and monitor the live broadcast
Before going live, inspect the actual sequence in OBS and make sure the prepared files, order, and scene elements are correct. YouTube recommends previewing the stream in Live Control Room and continuously monitoring audio and video quality. Its current eligibility requirements and operational limits can change, so check the YouTube live-streaming requirements and encoder guidance before scheduling a broadcast. The page states that channels must be verified and have had no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days; it also lists active-stream limits of 10 per channel and three per stream key.
Check rights, monetization, and replay expectations
Rights and live-stream eligibility
YouTube requires live-stream content to comply with its Community Guidelines and requires the channel or provider to have the necessary rights to use that content on Google services. Confirm rights for each lesson, as well as any music, images, or third-party material included in it. Review YouTube’s live-stream terms and the current live-streaming eligibility guidance before broadcasting.
Repetition and monetization
YouTube’s monetization policy says the same intro and outro can be acceptable when the bulk of the content differs. It also warns that highly repetitive or interchangeable content with little educational value may be ineligible for monetization. The guidance applies to live streams as well as other video formats; it is not a guarantee about how YouTube will assess a particular channel or broadcast. One uninterrupted stream may not yield a complete replay
YouTube says it can automatically archive a live stream that is shorter than 12 hours, while streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. If a complete replay matters, do not assume a continuous 24/7 broadcast will produce one. Consider recording locally or planning shorter segments, and review YouTube’s archive live streams guidance.

Troubleshoot repeated intro cards

The card appears before every lesson: It is likely embedded in each file. Export intro-free copies and replace the playlist files.

The card appears over lessons or between them: Check the OBS scene for a separate image or media source and adjust its visibility so it appears only when intended.

The playlist will not play correctly: Confirm VLC is installed and matches OBS’s architecture; 64-bit OBS needs 64-bit VLC. Recheck the playlist files and order.

The playlist finishes and stops: Confirm Loop Playlist is enabled on the VLC Video source. For one file, check the Media Source’s Loop option.

The broadcast runs beyond 12 hours and has no complete archive: YouTube warns that streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. Use a local recording or shorter planned broadcasts if you need a full replay.
