For a website report with page numbers, print the page to a paginated PDF—not to one tall screenshot. In Microsoft Edge, open Print, then enable More settings > Headers and footers. Edge adds the current date to the header and a page number to the footer. Preview the pages before saving the PDF.
Use Edge print settings for a numbered PDF

Open the webpage in Microsoft Edge and let the content you need load. Check that the relevant text and images appear on the page.

Open Print from the browser menu, or press Ctrl+P on Windows or Command+P on macOS.

Review the preview. Set paper size, orientation, page range, margins, and scaling as needed. Turn on background graphics if the page’s colors or backgrounds carry information.

Choose the PDF destination available on your system and save the reviewed output. The exact destination label can vary by operating system and configuration.

Check the PDF before using it in your report
Print layout can differ from the webpage displayed in the browser. Use the preview to catch clipped text, awkward page breaks, missing backgrounds, or content that did not load.
- Text or images are clipped: Try a different paper size or orientation, reduce scaling, or adjust margins.
- Pages are too small to read: Increase scaling or use landscape orientation for wide content, then check that nothing falls outside the printable area.
- Colors or visual context are missing: Enable background graphics and inspect the preview again.
- You only need certain pages: Select the required page range in the print dialog.
Edge describes a one-inch default margin and notes that minimum printer margins vary; the support guidance says they may be around 0.25 inches (6.35 mm). Choose a PDF or a full-page image
A numbered PDF and a full-page screenshot are different outputs. Printing paginates content onto document pages; a full-page screenshot creates an image of the webpage beyond the visible screen. Firefox documents capturing a full webpage as an image, but its cited screenshot instructions do not describe adding PDF page numbers to that image. Firefox screenshot help
Firefox’s developer tools also describe the :screenshot --fullpage console helper. It captures the full webpage as an image, not as a numbered PDF. Firefox developer documentation

When a report needs multiple website pages
If the report must include several linked pages, Adobe Acrobat desktop documents converting a web page or multiple levels of a website to PDF. Its options include limiting capture to the same URL path and excluding external domains by staying on the same server. The available instructions do not establish that this workflow automatically adds page numbers, so check the current Acrobat interface and resulting PDF before relying on numbered output.
