You can build a Make scenario that gets a lead’s website URL from Zoho CRM, captures the page, then uploads the image to that lead as an attachment. Make lists a Zoho CRM trigger, a screenshot-specific action called “Create a Screenshot of a URL,” HTTP request and file-download actions, and Zoho CRM’s “Upload an Attachment” action. Those listings establish the building blocks—not a verified, field-by-field recipe—so confirm the available fields, authentication, file handling, and limits in your Make account before deploying the scenario.
How the workflow fits together
A scenario passes data between modules: the lead record supplies the website URL, the screenshot step returns an image or a file reference, and the CRM attachment step associates the image with the lead. Make describes this as mapping data from one module to another. The precise mappings depend on the modules and fields available in your account.
- Find the lead: Use a suitable Zoho CRM trigger or search step to get the lead record and its website field.
- Capture the site: Use Make’s listed “Create a Screenshot of a URL” action, or call a screenshot service through HTTP.
- Prepare the file: If the screenshot service returns a file URL rather than file data, use an appropriate download step.
- Attach the image: Pass the image file and the correct lead identifier to Zoho CRM’s “Upload an Attachment” action.
Make’s Zoho CRM integration lists “Watch Objects,” described as triggering when an object is created or updated, and “Upsert a Lead.” Check in the scenario builder whether “Watch Objects” supports the Leads object and the event behavior you need. Make’s Zoho CRM integration listing describes the available integration modules.
Choose a screenshot route
Make’s screenshot-specific action
Make lists an HTML/CSS to Image action named “Create a Screenshot of a URL,” described as taking a screenshot of any website. It may be the simpler route to evaluate first because the screenshot action is exposed as a Make module. The listing does not establish its authentication requirements, rendering controls, output format, limits, or cost. Check those details in the current builder before relying on it. Call a screenshot API over HTTP
Make lists “HTTP Make a request” and “Download a file” alongside the Zoho CRM “Upload an Attachment” action. With this route, HTTP calls a screenshot API and the following steps handle its response. You must select a service and verify its current authentication method, response format, terms, limits, and pricing; the Make listing does not specify them. Make’s HTTP and Zoho CRM integration listing.
Neither route is established as universally better. Compare them in your scenario using the controls you actually need—such as viewport, full-page capture, and wait behavior—along with authentication ownership, returned file format, per-run costs and limits, and how readily the output can be attached in Zoho CRM.

Configure and test the scenario
Use these steps as an implementation plan, not as exact click-by-click instructions: Make’s integration listings do not document every field, mapping, or limit.
- Choose the trigger. In the Make scenario builder, select a Zoho CRM event or search module that can supply the relevant lead. If using “Watch Objects,” confirm it supports Leads and the create or update behavior you want.
- Check the website value. Inspect the lead data returned by the trigger. Map the actual website field into the screenshot step, and decide how to handle an empty, malformed, or non-public URL rather than sending it through blindly.
- Add the capture step. Try “Create a Screenshot of a URL” with a test lead. Alternatively, configure “HTTP Make a request” for your chosen screenshot service using that provider’s current documentation.
- Inspect the response. Determine whether the screenshot step returns file data or a URL. If it returns a URL, configure “Download a file” as needed so the attachment step receives a file in the form it expects.
- Upload to the right lead. Add Zoho CRM “Upload an Attachment.” Map the image and the lead’s record identifier, then confirm required fields and file-size limits in the active module configuration.
- Run a controlled test. Use a test lead and check both the scenario execution and the resulting lead record. Verify that the attachment opens, belongs to the intended lead, and represents the expected page.
Make the workflow reliable and safe
- Prevent duplicates: Decide whether each qualifying lead update should create another image. If not, design a duplicate-prevention rule, such as checking for an existing attachment or recording that a capture has already run. Make’s cited listings do not confirm a built-in idempotency feature for this workflow.
- Validate URLs: Skip or route leads without a valid website address. Consider which URL schemes and destinations your organization permits before making an automated request.
- Handle failed captures: Decide what should happen when a page is blocked, blank, slow, or unavailable. Test failure handling and any retry behavior in your scenario rather than assuming a screenshot module will recover automatically.
- Protect data: Review what lead information is sent to the screenshot provider. Send only what the capture requires, and check the providers’ terms and your organization’s privacy requirements.
- Check cost and capacity: Confirm the current module or API pricing, rate limits, and any Zoho CRM attachment restrictions before processing leads at scale. The cited Make listings do not state those values.
What “in India” means for this setup
The available Make listings do not establish India-specific service availability, data residency, regulatory compliance, billing, or regional settings for this workflow. If your organization needs a particular hosting region or compliance posture, verify it directly with Make, Zoho, and the selected screenshot provider; the fact that a scenario can be assembled in Make does not establish those details.

Or skip the browser setup
Instead of configuring a browser or screenshot module yourself, Make can call ScreenshotNeo’s screenshot API. ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server from Yorker Media. This cURL request returns a screenshot for the supplied URL; replace YOUR_API_KEY with your ScreenshotNeo access key and change the target URL as needed. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options.
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
In Make, configure its HTTP request with the equivalent URL, access key, and target URL, then pass the returned image through the file-handling and Zoho attachment steps. Confirm the response handling in your scenario before using it on live leads.
