You can capture a webpage after a Razorpay payment event by connecting a Razorpay trigger (or a Razorpay webhook sent to Zapier) to a screenshot action, then passing the resulting image to an email or storage step. The important catch: the payment notification is an event signal, not necessarily the webpage to capture. The screenshot action needs a specific, accessible webpage URL.
What the workflow captures—and what it does not
A Razorpay payment event can start a Zap, but it does not by itself tell Zapier which webpage to screenshot. GetScreenshot’s action requires a Website URL. Enter that URL directly, or use information from your own order or payment records and site logic to determine it. Do not assume the event name or payload automatically identifies the customer-facing page. Zapier’s GetScreenshot integration listing describes the screenshot actions and their URL input.
A typical workflow is:
- Receive the relevant Razorpay payment event in Zapier.
- Provide the webpage URL to a screenshot action.
- Pass the resulting image to a later Zap action, such as email or storage.
Choose how Razorpay triggers the Zap
Use Zapier’s native Razorpay trigger
Zapier lists Razorpay triggers including Payment Captured, Payment Link Paid, Payment Page Paid, Invoice Paid, and Payment Failed. Choose the event that matches your use case and is available in your Zapier account. For fulfillment, use a captured-payment event rather than treating an authorized payment as captured; Razorpay advises delivering goods or services only after capture. Use a Razorpay webhook and Catch Hook
Choose this route when you want to configure the endpoint in Razorpay, need an event not suited to the available native trigger, or want control over the webhook request. Razorpay describes webhooks as asynchronous server-to-server notifications and sends configured event payloads as HTTP POST JSON. Set up the Zap
1. Add and test the trigger
In Zapier, create a Zap and choose either a Razorpay payment trigger or Webhooks by Zapier’s Catch Hook trigger. For the direct webhook route, copy the generated Catch Hook URL into Razorpay’s webhook settings, select the event or events, and test using the same Razorpay mode you configured. Razorpay documents separate Test and Live mode webhook setup. Treat the Catch Hook URL as a private workflow endpoint: Zapier says it is unique to the Zap owner, and transferring a Zap requires updating that URL in the originating app.
2. Supply the target webpage URL
Add GetScreenshot’s “Take Website Screenshot” action and map or enter the actual page URL in its Website URL field. If each payment should capture a different page, use a value from your own order or site data only if it reliably identifies an accessible page. The available integration information does not establish that Razorpay’s event payload supplies the correct page URL automatically.

3. Configure the image
Choose full-page capture and a width appropriate for the page and intended recipient. For a single component rather than the whole page, use the element screenshot action and provide the element’s CSS selector. The listing also describes an experimental login-bypass field; do not rely on it working for a particular site. HTML to Image is another URL-to-image action listed in Zapier’s integrations, but it is not the same as capturing a rendered webpage with GetScreenshot. 4. Send or store the result
Add a downstream Zap action that accepts the screenshot output, such as an email or a suitable storage action. GetScreenshot’s listing says the image can be made available to following Zap steps and also lists an email action. If your workflow has three or more steps, Zapier’s listing says a Starter plan is required; check the current requirement in your account before building the Zap.

5. Test before publishing
Run a test payment or webhook and inspect the screenshot step’s input and output. Confirm that the URL is the intended page, the image contains the expected content, and the next action receives the image in the form it needs. This is especially important if your URL is mapped dynamically from order data.
Timing and payment-state safeguards
Razorpay webhooks are asynchronous and described as near real-time, not as a synchronous response to checkout. For a time-critical confirmation, Razorpay advises supplementing webhook automation with an API fetch if the webhook has not arrived within the required time. Do not use Razorpay’s callback_url as a substitute for server-side payment-status webhooks: Razorpay distinguishes the callback used in WebView or redirect checkout flows from asynchronous webhooks. Common problems and fixes
- The Zap runs, but there is no screenshot: Check that the screenshot action’s Website URL is populated with a full, reachable page URL. A payment event alone does not define the screenshot target.
- The wrong page is captured: Inspect the mapped URL in the test data. Correct the source field or use your own order/site logic to select the page.
- The target is a component, but the screenshot shows the whole page: Use the element screenshot action and supply a valid CSS selector.
- The page requires login: A public screenshot action may not be able to access it. The integration listing includes an experimental login-bypass field, but does not establish that it works on a given site. Do not assume private-page access.
- The webhook does not trigger the Zap: Verify the URL in Razorpay’s webhook settings, confirm the event selection, and check that the test event uses the configured Test or Live mode. If using Catch Hook, ensure the originating app still points to the current Zap’s unique URL.
- The workflow acts before payment is complete: Trigger fulfillment from a captured-payment state, not merely an authorization. For critical timing, verify status through Razorpay’s API as needed.
- The later Zap step cannot use the image: Test the output field from GetScreenshot and choose a receiving action that accepts that image or file representation. Confirm the step mapping before publishing.
