A looping playlist, a scheduled prerecorded broadcast, and a live production studio solve different problems. If you want a sequence of uploaded videos to repeat continuously, check specifically for a cloud-based 24/7 loop. A service that can schedule one prerecorded event does not necessarily include an infinite loop, and a local encoder requires a computer and connection to stay available.
- Continuous playlist: Uploaded videos play in sequence and repeat from a cloud service.
- Scheduled prerecorded broadcast: A video or finite program is sent as a live broadcast at a chosen time; continuous repetition may be a separate plan feature.

2. Castr: scheduled broadcasts and higher-tier looping
Castr’s prerecorded-video workflow schedules files from the cloud as standard live broadcasts, so the creator’s computer can remain off during a scheduled broadcast. Its page separately describes a playlist that loops continuously for a 24/7 channel, with infinite loop restricted to Premium and higher. Do not treat ordinary scheduled playback as proof that a plan includes a perpetual loop.
Castr may be worth considering if you need more than a YouTube destination: its page lists YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, custom RTMP endpoints, and an embedded player, subject to plan limits. The cited page does not establish an India-specific price, so compare the eligible plan and checkout total rather than assuming its entry-level plan covers nonstop streaming.

3. OneStream Live: confirm the exact 24/7 entitlement
OneStream’s help pages describe prerecorded scheduling up to 60 days ahead, sequential playlists, and 24/7 looping on YouTube. Its dedicated 24/7 guide says the feature is exclusive to YouTube, requires Enterprise, and allows a maximum scheduled duration of 30 days. That makes it important to distinguish a 24/7 setup from a shorter scheduled prerecorded stream.
The pricing page lists Free at $0, Basic at $15/month, Standard at $39/month, Professional at $49/month, and Enterprise at $139/month; it also lists a 24-hour-stream add-on at $30/month. The Free plan help page lists a 15-minute prerecorded-stream maximum, 720p, 1 GB storage, and no playlist streaming, so it does not test the full continuous-playlist use case. Because the pricing page and dedicated 24/7 guide do not make the applicable paid configuration unambiguous, ask OneStream to confirm the plan and add-on needed before calculating a lowest price.

Compare the real monthly cost and operating trade-offs
For a cloud service, compare the plan that actually permits continuous looping, not just the cheapest plan that can schedule a prerecorded video. Also account for the number of simultaneous channels or slots you need, storage, destination limits, and whether you need a website player. OneStream’s listed Enterprise and add-on figures should not be combined into a definitive total without confirmation of which configuration applies. Castr’s cited page does not state India pricing.

For a local always-on PC or self-managed server, the subscription is replaced by your own hardware, electricity, internet availability, and maintenance. That can provide more control, but the stream depends on that equipment and connection remaining operational. No local setup is required for the cloud-looping options described here.
Plan for YouTube archives, DVR, and rights
A 24/7 live stream may not produce a complete replay
YouTube Help says, “If your stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all.” Its DVR guidance separately warns that rewind capability may be limited or unavailable for streams longer than 12 hours. Archive capture concerns whether a recording is available after the broadcast; DVR concerns viewer rewind while it is live. If a replay matters, do not rely on a continuous broadcast to create it. Keep a separate source recording and backup, or plan shorter sessions. The YouTube Help pages do not display publication dates; this guidance was accessed October 3, 2026.
Check music and video rights for live and archived uses
YouTube’s livestream terms require the content provider to have the necessary rights for worldwide exploitation of live content, including relevant music rights. Google’s creator guidance advises securing clearances for livestream, rebroadcast, and video-on-demand use. A licence for one use should not be assumed to cover a continuous live stream or its later archive. Confirm rights for every video, track, performance, and territory in your playlist before broadcasting.
Make the programming meaningfully original
YouTube’s monetization policy says content should be original and authentic and identifies repetitive or mass-produced material as potentially ineligible. YouTube reviews the channel as a whole, including its theme, newest and most-viewed videos, watch-time share, and metadata. This does not mean every playlist stream automatically fails monetization; it does mean that simply repeating interchangeable material is not a sound monetization strategy. Give the programming meaningful original value and check the current YouTube Partner Program policy.

Verify these details before starting
- Confirm that the selected plan includes an infinite or 24/7 loop, rather than only scheduled prerecorded events.
- Check maximum run duration, number of concurrent streams, storage allowance, destination support, and any plan gates.
- Confirm the current total at checkout. For India, check available payment methods and taxes or other charges shown there.
- Test the YouTube connection and playlist with a short, private or unlisted broadcast before relying on a long-running public stream.
- Keep separate copies of source videos and any recording needed for an archive.
