Yes. If the video is an actual file stored in Google Drive, OneStream Live documents a direct route: open Pre-recorded Stream, add the video from Cloud Storage → Google Drive, set the loop count, choose a destination, add stream details, and schedule it. The documented workflow supports up to 60 loops. A YouTube watch-page link is not the same as a Drive video file, and the instructions do not promise that a YouTube URL can be imported as one.

What you need before transferring the video

  • An actual video file in your Google Drive, rather than only a YouTube watch-page URL.
  • Access to the Google account that contains the file, and access to the cloud-loop service account and destination YouTube channel.
  • Permission to stream the video, including any music, footage, or other material it contains.
  • A file format accepted by the destination service. Google Drive lists WebM, MPEG4/3GPP/MOV, AVI, MPEGPS, WMV, FLV, MTS, and OGG, but warns that compatibility varies by device. A format playable in Drive is not automatically confirmed as acceptable to a streaming service.

Drive can store video files up to 5 TB when the account has purchased that much capacity; otherwise, available account storage is the limit. Drive playback itself is capped at 1920 × 1080, which is a playback limit in Drive—not a universal limit for cloud streaming services. Google Drive Help: Store and play video in Google Drive.

Transfer a Drive file to OneStream Live and schedule a loop

OneStream Live’s help center describes a pre-recorded broadcast workflow that selects a file from Google Drive Cloud Storage. The instructions were updated September 21, 2026.

  1. Open Pre-recorded Stream. Sign in to OneStream Live and choose Pre-recorded Stream.
  2. Add the Drive video. Select Add Videos, then Cloud Storage → Google Drive. Choose the video file from the connected Drive account. The help center also lists Cloud Storage as a source in its mobile instructions.
  3. Choose the loop count. Set how many times the video should repeat in this broadcast. OneStream documents a maximum of 60 loops for this setup.
  4. Select a destination and enter stream details. Choose the social destination, then provide the requested broadcast information. Confirm that the selected destination is the YouTube channel you intend to use.
  5. Schedule the broadcast. Review the file, loop count, destination, and timing before scheduling. OneStream says the video repeats during a single broadcast; this documented workflow does not establish an unlimited loop setting.

See the complete service instructions at OneStream Live Help Center: How to Loop a Pre-recorded Stream?. The cited page does not state every plan requirement or all file-size and streaming limits, so check the account and service requirements before relying on a particular schedule.

How GoLive India fits—and what its Drive instructions do not establish

GoLive India describes uploading pre-recorded videos, scheduling them, setting video iteration or looping, and running continuous cloud broadcasts to YouTube. Its cited page mentions a local-device upload, a video link, or a camera, but does not explicitly confirm selecting a video directly from Google Drive. Ask GoLive India to confirm Drive selection or link-fetch behavior before planning a Drive-based workflow. Its page is at GoLive India: Go Live Without Being Online.

Drive file versus YouTube link

A Drive file is a video stored in your Drive account and selected through a cloud-storage picker. A YouTube URL points to a video on YouTube; copying that link from Drive’s Share menu does not establish that a loop service can import the underlying file. The OneStream workflow specifically documents selecting a file from Google Drive Cloud Storage. If you have only a YouTube URL, ask the service whether it accepts that exact input rather than assuming it can fetch or convert it.

Google Drive’s official instructions cover uploading a video from a computer via New → File upload and copying a link from the Share menu. They also note that playback quality can depend on internet speed and connection quality. Those Drive playback details do not define the cloud service’s ingest or broadcast limits. Rights, attribution, and YouTube suitability

Only loop content you have the rights to stream. A cloud service moving or repeating a file does not grant permission to use copyrighted music, footage, or recordings, and it does not guarantee that YouTube will accept or monetize a broadcast. Check the rights for every component and follow YouTube’s current rules for live content and monetization.

As a practical attribution example—not a statement of general YouTube law—DIKSHA’s creator upload workflow validates standard YouTube credits and licenses. DIKSHA accepts local MP4/WebM files or URLs for YouTube videos and other files, and its own upload limit is 500 MB; that limit applies to DIKSHA, not OneStream Live or GoLive India.
