The legacy guide describes a recurring screenshot test built around a selected browser matrix. Its documented steps are:

The guide does not establish a timezone, when a schedule first runs, how to edit or cancel one, retry behavior, or current delivery guarantees. It also does not confirm that the scheduler is still available in the current TestMu AI interface. The legacy automated screenshot testing guide currently redirects to TestMu AI; that redirect alone does not confirm that its feature set or interface stayed the same.
Choose a cadence and browser matrix
Match the schedule to the rate of change
The legacy guide lists daily, weekly, and monthly schedules. Choose among them based on how often the site changes and how quickly your team needs to notice visual drift. A more frequent run may produce more screenshots and email to review; the guide does not specify costs, alert thresholds, or a universally best cadence.

Keep the matrix reviewable
Select browser, operating-system, and device combinations that reflect the audience and the checks your team can review. The legacy article describes a matrix-based workflow but does not establish which combinations are currently offered or recommend a particular set.
Capture settings that can change the result
The legacy article also discusses saved configurations, completion email, recent test history, desktop screen resolutions, authenticated pages, and defer time. These are capabilities described by that article, not confirmation of current controls.

Defer time
LambdaTest support described defer time as allowing screenshots to be taken “once all the elements of the website are loaded” in a reply dated July 14, 2022. The reply does not prescribe a wait duration. See the LambdaTest support discussion of defer time.
Pages behind a login
The legacy guide describes supplying a login URL, identifying the username, password, and submit-button locators, and providing credentials to capture a page after login. Because this depends on sensitive configuration and possibly changed controls, verify the current interface and handling requirements before using it. Do not assume the old instructions map directly to today’s product.

Verify availability before depending on a schedule
Since the detailed instructions are legacy documentation and the article now redirects, first confirm in the live TestMu AI product whether recurring screenshot scheduling is available and whether it supports the cadence and email workflow you need. If it is available, confirm the current labels and operational details—including timezone, first run, editing or cancellation, and failure handling—with the product’s current documentation or support. The legacy source does not settle those points.
