YouTube Studio can schedule when each individual video becomes public, but its documented tools do not provide a calendar-based feature that automatically rotates a playlist. To plan a Hindi learning channel, schedule each video’s publication separately, then manage the playlist’s videos and order as a separate step.
Plan the rotation as a learning sequence
Start with the topics and order that make sense for your viewers—for example, Hindi vowels, consonants, numbers, and short stories. Group related videos into focused playlists and decide which videos you want to publish, and when. A playlist organizes videos; it does not itself schedule their publication.
Schedule each video in YouTube Studio
- Upload the video. Add its title, description, thumbnail, and other video details in YouTube Studio.
- Set the audience accurately. Choose whether the video is made for kids using the channel-level or video-level audience setting. A video-level choice can override the channel default.
- Open the Schedule card. Set the intended publication date, time, and time zone, then select Schedule. The video remains private until its scheduled publication. See YouTube’s scheduled-publishing steps.
- Repeat for each video. Set a date and time for every video in the planned sequence. Scheduling one video does not schedule the rest of its playlist.
The watch-page publication date is based on Pacific Standard Time, so it can differ from the date shown in Studio for a creator scheduling from a time zone ahead of PST. If a Community Guidelines strike prevents a scheduled video from publishing during its penalty period, YouTube says the video returns to private; reschedule it after the freeze ends. Add the relevant videos to the playlist and keep its membership or order aligned with your teaching plan. Playlist management is a separate task from publishing schedules; YouTube’s playlist guidance explains how to create and manage playlists, but does not establish automatic rotation on a timetable. Do not assume that putting a video in a playlist makes it public at a chosen time, or that changing playlist order sets a weekly publishing schedule. Use the video’s Schedule control to time publication and manage playlist contents independently.
Check made-for-kids settings and viewer features
Creators must indicate whether their content is made for kids. You can use a channel-level setting for existing and future videos, or make video-level decisions; an individual video setting can override the channel default. Review each choice rather than relying on automated classification. YouTube says it may change a setting it believes was selected in error or abused. Read YouTube’s audience-setting guidance.

Hindi language alone does not determine whether a video is made for kids. YouTube’s guidance says factors include subject matter such as preschool education, intended and actual audience, child actors or characters, and activities such as simple songs, games, or early education. Consider the full set of factors; if you are uncertain about your obligations, YouTube suggests considering its guidance and seeking legal counsel when needed. That can affect how you promote a sequence and what viewers can do with it. Check the current feature list in YouTube Help or Studio, since platform controls can change.
