Take a screenshot to preserve the Croma price you can see now; use a price tracker or check again later to find out whether it changes. On desktop or Android, Chrome may offer price history and tracking for eligible products in India. A separate tracker is another option, but confirm it recognizes the exact Croma listing before relying on it.
Save a clear record of the Croma price
- Open the exact Croma product page. Check that the product name or model, displayed price, and any offer terms you care about are visible.
- Capture the screen using your device’s screenshot controls. Include the product identity and price together where possible; if they do not fit, take overlapping screenshots or use scroll capture if your device supports it.
- Keep the product-page URL with the image and note the date and time of capture. That context helps you identify what the screenshot records later; there is no required evidence format.
Screenshot controls vary by device. For one model-specific example, a Samsung user manual hosted by Croma describes using Side and Volume Down, then using scroll capture for a long page. Do not assume those buttons apply to every Android phone or to an iPhone or computer.
Track price changes with Chrome
Desktop Chrome
- Open the Croma product page in Chrome and look for Shopping Insights in the address bar.
- Open the panel to view the price history and price range if Chrome recognizes the product.
- To follow future changes, select “Save and track price.” You can also save a trackable product with the bookmark control and find it in the Shopping list.
See Google’s desktop instructions for the documented controls and availability.
Chrome on Android
- Open the product page in Chrome and look for the price-insights control, or open the browser menu and choose “Track prices” when that option is available.
- Find tracked items under Bookmarks → Tracked products.
- Use Chrome’s documented mobile controls for price-drop and email notifications if offered for your product and setup.
Google documents these steps in its Android price-tracking help.

Eligibility and settings
Google lists India as a supported country for Chrome price tracking and Shopping Insights. Its prerequisites include being signed into Chrome with a Google Account, syncing tabs and history, and enabling “Make searches and browsing better.” Interface controls and product eligibility can vary by device, browser interface, and listing. If the control does not appear, Chrome may not recognize that product or the required setup may be missing.
Consider a separate Croma-compatible tracker
The Price History app listing says it supports Croma and offers price history and price-drop alerts. Its browser extension listing describes tracking and history graphs for supported stores. These are claims by the service publisher, not a guarantee that every Croma product or variant is covered. Check the exact listing in the tool before relying on it:

Do not assume a tracker has historical prices for a Croma item from before you added it. The extension listing distinguishes long-term data for Amazon India and Flipkart from tracking newly added products at other stores; confirm what history is available for the specific Croma listing.
Know what each method can and cannot tell you
| Method | What it does | Alerts | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Screenshot | Preserves what was visible at one moment. | No; you must check again yourself. | It does not monitor later prices. |
| Chrome Shopping Insights and tracking | Can show price history and range, and track eligible items. | Google documents price-drop and email notifications on Android. | Requires eligible product and setup; availability can vary. |
| Price History app or extension | The publisher says it supports Croma price history and tracking. | The publisher advertises price-drop alerts. | Coverage and historical data for an individual Croma listing are not guaranteed. |
Croma’s FAQ describes tracking delivery status for an order in a customer account. That is order tracking, not product-price tracking; the FAQ does not establish a Croma in-house price-history or price-alert feature: Croma FAQ.

ScreenshotNeo option for capturing a page
A screenshot is still only a record of the moment it is taken; a capture API does not itself monitor later price changes. If you want to automate the screenshot step, ScreenshotNeo can capture a website with one GET request. For example, replace the URL below with the Croma product URL:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://www.croma.com -o shot.webpSee the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for parameters and setup. Before the capture, it accepts cookie or consent banners and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets; each step can be turned off. Bot checks or CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed, and response headers say which page verdict and billing outcome applied. Its MCP server provides take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf tools for AI agents.
ScreenshotNeo offers 1,000 screenshots per month free with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. Sign up for ScreenshotNeo.

Troubleshooting
Chrome does not show Shopping Insights or “Track prices”
- Check that you are signed into Chrome with a Google Account, tabs and history are syncing, and “Make searches and browsing better” is enabled.
- Try the device-specific controls in Google’s desktop or Android help pages; the interface differs by platform.
- If the controls still do not appear, the exact product may not be eligible. Use a screenshot as a record and check a tracker’s product coverage directly.
A tracker cannot find the product or variant
Confirm the tracker recognizes the exact Croma page, model, and variant. Do not treat support for Croma as proof that every listing is covered, or assume a history graph includes prices from before tracking began.
The screenshot does not prove which price you saw
Retake it with the product name or model and displayed price in the same capture. If that is not possible, take overlapping or scroll captures, and keep the page URL and capture date and time alongside the image.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Croma screenshot alert me when the price changes?
No. A screenshot records one moment; use a price tracker or check the page again to detect a later change.
Does Croma itself provide price history?
Croma’s FAQ describes order delivery tracking, not product-price history or alerts.
