To save an Aadhaar update status page as a PDF, open your result on UIDAI’s official MyAadhaar portal, then use your desktop browser’s Print command and choose Save as PDF. The file is a PDF copy of the webpage—not an e-Aadhaar or an official status certificate.
Save the displayed Aadhaar update status as a PDF

Go to UIDAI’s official website and follow its link to MyAadhaar’s status-check service. Before entering reference details, confirm that the address is on
uidai.gov.inormyaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. UIDAI identifies MyAadhaar as the route for checking update status. See the UIDAI status information. -
Enter the requested enrolment or update reference details and complete the authentication prompts shown by the portal. The fields may vary according to the route and request type.

Wait until the status result is visible. If the page requires you to expand a section or finish another prompt to display it, do that before printing.

In desktop Chrome, open Print: press
Ctrl+Pon Windows or Linux, orCommand+Pon Mac. In the print dialog, set the destination to Save as PDF, review the preview, and save the file. Google documents Chrome’s print settings and Save as PDF workflow. -
Choose a clear filename, then open the saved PDF and check that the displayed status and any relevant reference information appear in it.

Check the print preview before saving
The result may be displayed dynamically or in a section that is not included in the print layout. Inspect the preview before saving. If the status is missing, return to the portal, make sure the result is fully displayed, and try printing again. The documented Chrome workflow explains how to print a webpage; it does not guarantee how every authenticated UIDAI status result will render.
This guidance is for desktop Chrome. The available browser instructions do not establish identical controls across mobile browsers or operating systems. If a mobile browser lacks a suitable Save as PDF option, use a desktop browser rather than assuming the mobile print controls will match.

A status-page PDF is not e-Aadhaar
UIDAI lists checking an update’s status and downloading Aadhaar as separate services. A PDF made with the browser’s print command captures the status webpage as displayed; it is not an e-Aadhaar download, Aadhaar letter, or newly issued UIDAI certificate. Use UIDAI’s separate Download Aadhaar service when you need e-Aadhaar.
If the update is still in process
UIDAI says update requests can take up to 90 days; the FAQ does not specify a year for that guidance. This is not a guaranteed completion date. If the request is more than 90 days old, UIDAI directs residents to contact 1947 or UIDAI support. The FAQ says processing cannot be expedited. Saving or printing the page does not change the request’s processing. See UIDAI’s FAQ and support guidance.
