Then verify that the server URL and key are in their separate fields. If the error mentions SSL, a timeout, or failure to connect, check the RTMPS server and connection settings instead of repeatedly changing the key. The available official guidance explains YouTube and OBS troubleshooting; it does not establish that JioFiber is blocking YouTube Live.
1. Replace the saved stream key with the current YouTube key

Open YouTube Studio and go to Live Control Room. Select the stream you intend to use and copy its current stream key.

In OBS, open Settings > Stream. Paste the key into the stream-key field, then select Apply and OK.

Try starting the stream again. YouTube’s first documented fix for a third-party encoder error is: “To fix it, get a new stream key in the Live Control Room and update your encoder.” YouTube Help

If you reset the key, the new key must replace the old one saved in OBS. YouTube says only a channel owner or manager can reset a stream key. If you cannot access that control, ask an owner or manager to do it. Manage live stream settings
2. Check the server URL and key in OBS
The server URL and stream key are separate settings: a correct key in the wrong field, or a wrong server alongside the right key, can still prevent OBS from connecting.

In OBS, open Settings > Stream and confirm the service is YouTube or YouTube RTMPS, as appropriate for your setup.

Check that the server field contains the YouTube stream server URL and that the stream-key field contains the current key copied from Live Control Room. Do not paste the key into the server field.

Apply the settings, reopen the page to verify that they were saved, and start the stream again. If you use a previously configured stream or saved profile, do not assume it has the current key or server selection.

YouTube’s encoder setup instructions treat the server URL and stream key as distinct settings. Set up your encoder for live streaming
If you signed in to YouTube inside third-party software
If OBS or another third-party tool connects through your YouTube account instead of a manually entered stream key, YouTube directs users to that software’s support team. The integration may need an update. YouTube Help: troubleshoot live stream errors
3. Treat SSL errors and timeouts as a server or protocol issue
An SSL error or timeout does not by itself mean the key is wrong. Confirm that OBS is using the intended protocol and the matching YouTube server URL. When using RTMPS, the URL must use RTMPS and the encoder must support it. YouTube notes that port 443 can be specified when troubleshooting an SSL error. YouTube Help: use RTMPS to stream

Confirm the selected protocol in OBS and the server URL agree; do not pair an RTMPS selection with a different protocol’s URL.

If the error specifically mentions SSL, check YouTube’s RTMPS guidance for the port 443 setting and verify that your encoder supports RTMPS.

Only revisit or reset the key if the error points to credentials or the key itself. A connection timeout is a reason to investigate server and network configuration.
4. Isolate OBS connection problems on JioFiber
Once the key, server, and protocol are verified, test the connection path. OBS lists unstable connections, Wi-Fi, VPNs and security software, IP-family selection, router or modem conditions, and ISP-side conditions among possible variables. Those are general troubleshooting possibilities, not evidence that JioFiber specifically blocks YouTube Live. OBS Project: stream connection troubleshooting
Try a wired connection and remove temporary network variables

If the computer is on Wi-Fi, connect it to the router with Ethernet and try again. If wired streaming works while Wi-Fi does not, that points toward Wi-Fi or local-network conditions; it does not prove the key was valid or establish an ISP fault. A standard Ethernet cable is useful only for this test, and will not fix a stale key or incorrect server.

Temporarily test with VPN software disconnected, if you use one. Check whether firewall or security software is interfering with OBS, changing only the relevant setting cautiously and restoring protection afterward.

If available, try another connection briefly, such as a mobile hotspot. A difference between connections suggests the path or local network deserves investigation; it does not identify the exact cause on its own.

Update OBS and test its network settings

Install a current OBS version, then retry the stream.

In OBS network settings, use IPv4 only as a troubleshooting test if connection problems persist. If it does not help, restore the default IPv4/IPv6 setting.

Restart the router and modem if the connection appears unstable, then test again.
Do not make port forwarding or opening inbound ports your default fix. The OBS connection guidance points toward diagnosing connection conditions and contacting the ISP where needed; it does not show that JioFiber requires inbound port changes for this problem.

Contact Jio support only after you have confirmed the current key, separate server and key fields, the selected protocol, and the basic OBS/network checks. Explain that OBS cannot connect to YouTube Live and provide the exact error text, the time it occurred, whether Ethernet or another connection changed the result, and any relevant OBS logs. Ask them to investigate the connection path rather than asserting that JioFiber blocks YouTube Live; the available official YouTube and OBS instructions do not establish that claim.
