Indian agencies can use Happo as part of a client’s code-review workflow: capture selected components or application states, compare them with approved screenshots, and review the differences before a change ships. The available sources explain how this workflow can work; they do not establish that Indian agencies broadly use Happo or provide India-specific commercial terms.
What Happo can—and cannot—tell an agency
Happo is a visual and accessibility regression-testing service. It compares rendered screenshots with baselines so a team can spot UI changes that functional tests may not catch. A difference is a prompt for review, not an automatic verdict that something is broken: it may be an approved redesign, an unintended regression, or rendering noise. Happo’s product overview
The distinction matters for the title: Happo’s published material describes customers in multiple regions and mentions web agencies in Brazil, but the reviewed sources do not name Indian agencies. The workflow below is therefore one Indian agencies could adopt, not evidence of a verified India-wide adoption trend. Happo customer information
Build a review workflow around the client’s product
1. Decide what the screenshots should cover
Agree with the client on the routes or components that matter, the states to capture, and the browser and viewport targets. A Happo installation does not automatically cover every page or state; the team’s selected capture points define what the review can reveal.
#1 Best Overall
- CRISP CLARITY: This 23.8″ Philips V line monitor delivers crisp Full HD 1920x1080 visuals. Enjoy movies, shows and videos with remarkable detail
- INCREDIBLE CONTRAST: The VA panel produces brighter whites and deeper blacks. You get true-to-life images and more gradients with 16.7 million colors
- THE PERFECT VIEW: The 178/178 degree extra wide viewing angle prevents the shifting of colors when viewed from an offset angle, so you always get consistent colors

- A BETTER READING EXPERIENCE: For busy office workers, EasyRead mode provides a more paper-like experience for when viewing lengthy documents
Choose the integration that matches the existing front-end workflow:
- Storybook: capture component stories and their variants. This is a natural fit when the agency and client review a component library.
- Cypress or Playwright: capture selected application states exercised by browser tests. This suits flows or pages whose important appearance depends on application behavior.
- Custom integration: use Happo’s API if the project’s capture setup does not fit the documented integrations.
Happo documents these integration approaches and screenshot review features in its documentation.

2. Run checks in CI and attach review to pull requests
Connect the screenshot run to the project’s continuous-integration workflow and make its review link available with the pull request. This puts visual review alongside code review, before the change reaches production. Decide who on the agency and client sides will inspect and approve changes; that division of responsibility is an implementation choice, not a Happo-mandated agency process.
3. Compare each result with its baseline
Review the before-and-after images using the available side-by-side, highlighted-difference, or swipe views. Check where the pixels changed and whether those changes match the pull request’s purpose. If the change is intended, the responsible reviewers can approve the new appearance and baseline under the team’s process. If it is unexpected, investigate before approval rather than treating the diff itself as proof of a defect.

- Clear visuals. Fluid motion: A 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT deliver smooth, tear‑free motion across work, gaming, and streaming for clearer, more fluid viewing.
- Eye comfort: TÜV Rheinland 3‑star* certification reduces harmful blue light while preserving stunning color quality without compromise. *TÜV Rheinland 3-star eye comfort certification.
- Wide viewing angle: Get consistent views across a wide 178° /178° viewing angle.
- In-Plane Switching (IPS): See excellent color accuracy and consistency across wide viewing angles with In-plane Switching (IPS) technology.
- Ultra-thin bezels: Maximize your viewing experience with thin bezels.
4. Triage findings with both technical and design context
The developer can explain the code change; the client’s design or product reviewer can determine whether the result matches the approved design or product decision. For a surprising diff, check the changed component or route, responsive layout, browser rendering, fonts, assets, and test stability. A test may be capturing an unstable external resource rather than a product regression.
5. Add responsive and accessibility checks deliberately
Where the client needs them, include multiple viewport sizes and browser targets rather than assuming one screenshot represents every user’s experience. Happo also documents accessibility regression checks alongside screenshot tests. These automated checks are useful signals, not a replacement for a broader manual accessibility evaluation or design sign-off. Happo documentation

Keep snapshots stable and usage understandable
Unstable rendering creates noisy diffs and wastes reviewer time. Happo documents controls to silence animations, wait for assets and fonts, and set color-delta tolerance. Apply these to reduce incidental changes while retaining the ability to detect meaningful ones; tolerance settings can also hide small real changes if set too broadly. Happo stability guidance
Estimate usage from the planned coverage before committing to a tier. Happo defines a snapshot as one component variant in one browser, so adding variants or browser targets can increase the count. Its plans also differ in snapshot volume and browser entitlements. The pricing page lists a free tier and paid USD plans; at the time described by that page, the paid tiers were Starter at $149/month, Growth at $399/month, and Pro at $749/month, with custom Enterprise pricing. Treat these as changeable listed prices, not an India-specific quote: the reviewed information does not establish applicable Indian currency, taxes, or payment terms. Check the current terms directly with Happo pricing.

Happo has also published examples illustrating possible optimization, but they should not be treated as an agency forecast. In 2026, founder and CEO Henric Persson reported a 40% reduction in Happo’s own Storybook snapshot volume after using the --only flag to render stories affected by a pull request. Founder and CTO Joe Lencioni reported that one unnamed customer reduced flaky variants from about 2,000 to about 20 after restricting HTTP requests from snapshots. Both are vendor-reported examples, not independently audited results or expected outcomes for an Indian agency. Happo company articles
Where ScreenshotNeo fits
Happo’s workflow is for repeated visual regression review against baselines. ScreenshotNeo is a different kind of tool: a website screenshot API and MCP server for developers, made by Yorker Media. An agency that needs to capture a page on demand—for a ticket, report, or AI-agent workflow—can try ScreenshotNeo as an alternative, rather than treating it as a replacement for Happo’s baseline review process.
Or skip the browser setup
A single GET request can return a website screenshot. This cURL example saves a WebP image of Stripe; replace the target URL with the page you need and supply an API key. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options.
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp
ScreenshotNeo accepts cookie and consent banners like a visitor and removes more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture; each cleanup step can be turned off. Bot checks and CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and response headers identify the page verdict and billing status. Its MCP server offers take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf for AI agents and other MCP clients. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots. Sign up for ScreenshotNeo’s free plan.

- Which pages, components, states, browsers, and viewports are in scope?
- Who reviews visual changes, and who can approve an intended baseline update?
- How will the team handle dynamic assets, fonts, animations, and external requests that make captures unstable?
- Does the chosen plan’s browser coverage and snapshot allowance match the agreed test matrix?
- Are automated accessibility checks being used as one input to accessibility work, rather than as a complete audit?
Happo’s reviewed materials do not establish India-specific onboarding, support arrangements, pricing, or local agency adoption. Agencies evaluating those details should confirm them directly rather than infer them from international customer examples.
