Intel lists Gears of War: E-Day and ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE as Game On Driver-supported games for Arc B-series and A-series graphics, as well as Core Ultra processors with integrated Arc graphics. That listing confirms driver support—not a frame-rate target or a guarantee for every PC. Intel’s US driver page is dynamic and should be checked for the current package and Windows compatibility list.
Which Intel graphics products are listed?
Intel’s Arc Graphics for Windows download page lists Game On support for both games on these graphics families:
- Intel Arc B-series discrete graphics
- Intel Arc A-series discrete graphics
- Intel Core Ultra processors with integrated Arc graphics
The same page identifies Arc graphics families including Alchemist and Battlemage. The support listing does not establish identical performance across those products or across individual system configurations.
Which Windows versions are listed?
Intel’s captured US page lists Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 21H2, 22H2, 23H2, 24H2, 25H2, and 26H2. Because Intel can update this compatibility list, check the live download page before installing rather than assuming every listed version remains current.

Which driver version adds the games?
A captured Intel regional download page identifies Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.9033 WHQL for Arc B-series, Arc A-series, and Core Ultra processors with Arc graphics. However, Intel’s regional and US page captures do not consistently establish that this was the first version to add both games. Treat the first-support version and date as unconfirmed unless a dated Intel release note verifies them.
Should you install Intel’s generic driver or your PC maker’s driver?
For a laptop or prebuilt desktop, check the manufacturer’s support page first. Intel says its generic graphics driver can overwrite an OEM-customized driver. OEM packages may include system-specific customizations, and Intel advises corporate customers to use OEM drivers. If you choose Intel’s package, follow the installation guidance on Intel’s download page and ensure it matches your hardware and Windows release.

What the Game On support listing does—and does not—mean
Game On support is Intel’s indication that the driver includes support for the named games on the listed graphics families. The Intel page provides no game-specific frame-rate result, so the listing should not be read as a benchmark or a promise that a particular PC will run either game at a particular setting or performance level.

Microsoft’s DirectX Developer Blog explains that Advanced Shader Delivery (ASD) ships precompiled shaders with a game download. This reduces shader work the CPU must perform when the game starts and can help reduce stutter caused by runtime shader compilation. It is a game and Windows feature—not an effect of Intel’s Game On driver listing.

In an October 1, 2026 post, Microsoft says ASD reduces shader compilation time for Gears of War: E-Day by approximately 95%; Microsoft describes first-launch compilation with ASD as taking seconds instead of several minutes on a typical PC without ASD. This is Microsoft’s claim about shader compilation time, not a general frame-rate increase or an Intel-driver benchmark.
Microsoft specifies Windows 11 24H2 or higher for ASD and describes Gears of War: E-Day as the first title supporting ASD across the expanded Windows ecosystem. Its post names Intel Arc B-series B570 and B580, and Intel Core Ultra Series 2 and Series 3, among hardware planned for ASD support later in October 2026. That schedule is Microsoft’s feature-support information; it should not be taken to mean ASD is available on every Intel GPU. See Microsoft’s DirectX Developer Blog post for the feature details.
