OneStream Live documents prerecorded video scheduling and playlists, with videos sourced from a device, its library, or cloud storage. Its general prerecorded-streaming page mentions 45+ destinations, but its dedicated 24/7 option is YouTube-only. The help page, updated September 3, 2026, says 24/7 streaming requires Enterprise and has a maximum run of 30 days. Plan the playlist and protect your archive
Build a coherent episode loop
- Use finished video episodes with audio and visuals you have permission to broadcast. Confirm rights for music, guest contributions, clips, images, and other embedded material.
- Choose whether episodes repeat in a fixed order or need to be scheduled individually. If the order may change during the broadcast, confirm the service supports live playlist editing.
- Use an accurate title and description that make clear the stream contains prerecorded podcast episodes. Do not imply that a rerun is a live conversation.
- Keep clean local copies of every episode and, if useful, a separate combined playlist export or schedule. Do not rely on a continuous YouTube stream to preserve every episode as a separate archive.
Understand YouTube’s 12-hour archive caveat
YouTube Help says a live stream that exceeds 12 hours “may not be captured at all.” Streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, but YouTube recommends recording a local archive as a backup. A service-generated 24/7 feed therefore should not be treated as a guaranteed complete YouTube recording. Preserve the source episodes independently and verify how your chosen service handles its own recordings.
