To run Marathi lofi music on YouTube around the clock, prepare a rights-cleared playlist, verify your channel can livestream, then send the playlist to YouTube with OBS on a computer that stays on—or upload it to a cloud service that streams while your computer is off. Test the sound, picture, and a complete playlist cycle before relying on the broadcast. Continuous availability does not guarantee viewers or monetization.
Before you start: confirm YouTube access and rights
Check livestream eligibility
YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days. Streamers must be at least 16. YouTube lists encoder streaming as an option alongside mobile, webcam, and console streaming; an encoder suits a prepared music-and-visual program. Its current Help page also lists limits of 10 simultaneous active streams per channel and three per stream key, which are unlikely to affect a single lofi broadcast. Clear every track and visual
Use music and artwork that you own or have permission to broadcast. Keep documentation covering public streaming, archiving, and the territories where you intend to make the stream available. If you license music from someone else, ask the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. A license by itself may not stop a live interruption if the channel has not been allowlisted.
YouTube scans live broadcasts for third-party content. It may warn you, replace the picture with a placeholder, interrupt the stream, or terminate it if the matched content remains. An archived stream can receive a Content ID claim after the broadcast ends. A “royalty-free” label, credit line, short excerpt, or “no copyright intended” disclaimer is not a substitute for permission. YouTube explains these risks in its copyright guidance for live streams.

Choose how to keep the stream running

For prerecorded music and visuals, you generally do not need a camera, microphone, preamp, or capture card. OBS compatibility requirements are not a promise of streaming performance: the actual processing load depends on encoder, resolution, frame rate, and scene complexity. The OBS Project’s requirements page cautions that a compatible system may still be incapable of streaming or recording reliably. See OBS system requirements.
How to make a 24/7 stream with OBS
- Install OBS Studio. Choose a computer that can encode your intended output, and test it under the actual scene and settings rather than relying on a minimum compatibility list.
- Build the program. In OBS, create a scene, add your visual as a media source, and enable looping for a single file. For multiple tracks, prepare a playlist and a transition method. Confirm that the music and image/video assets are rights-cleared.
- Create the YouTube broadcast. Open YouTube Live Control Room, create or schedule a live event, and choose encoder streaming. Copy the stream URL and private stream key into OBS’s stream settings. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or send it in chat.
- Set an initial output profile. A Looping Stream guide updated June 12, 2026 gives a starting profile of 1080p at 30 fps, 10 Mbps video, AAC stereo at 128 Kbps, constant bitrate, a two-second keyframe interval, progressive scan, and RTMPS when available. This is a dated vendor summary, not a verified current YouTube specification. Check YouTube’s current encoder recommendations immediately before configuring a real broadcast; the current official bitrate recommendations are not established here. - Start a private or otherwise controlled test. Confirm YouTube receives both sound and picture at the expected resolution. Check stream health and listen for clipping, silence, or channel imbalance.
- Test a full playlist pass. Watch the transitions across every file before depending on the playlist. Differences in codecs, frame rates, or audio layout may show up between tracks. Keep backup media available and recheck stream health after changes.
- Go live and monitor. Once the test passes, start the broadcast and confirm the live event is receiving a stable feed. Changes to files or settings warrant another test.

Troubleshoot common failures
- YouTube will not accept the stream: Check that the channel is verified, that it has no live-stream restriction from the prior 90 days, and that the stream key and URL are correct. If the key may have been exposed, replace it in YouTube and update OBS.
- YouTube receives video but no sound: Check the media source’s audio routing and OBS audio meters, then confirm the live preview has sound before leaving the stream unattended.
- Playback stutters or drops: Check local internet stability, computer load, and OBS stream health. Reduce output demands if the computer cannot encode the selected resolution and frame rate consistently. A cloud playlist removes the home computer and connection from the encoding path, but still needs setup and monitoring.
- A playlist transition breaks: Test all files and transitions in a full pass. Check for differences in codec, frame rate, or audio layout, and replace or standardize problem files before production.
- Copyright warning or interruption: Stop using the matched material unless you have the necessary rights and the rights owner has resolved any Content ID allowlisting requirement. A license does not necessarily prevent live matching on its own.
What a 24/7 schedule does—and does not—do
A continuous broadcast does not itself guarantee discovery, views, or income. YouTube Partner Program eligibility and reused-content rules are not established by the sources cited here, so check YouTube’s current monetization policies rather than assuming a lofi loop qualifies. Build the stream around material you have rights to use and a program that serves viewers; uptime alone is not a monetization strategy.
