If you need product, price, stock, seller, rating, or review data from Indian ecommerce sites, start by matching the tool to the marketplaces and fields you actually need. Nextract describes Amazon and Flipkart data APIs; BrandBaazar focuses on Flipkart; WebFusionData claims broad Indian marketplace coverage. Browse AI remains an option for teams that want to train a no-code robot, while Zyte and ScrapingBee are more developer-oriented options with different evidence for India-specific coverage. These products are not interchangeable, and available vendor information does not establish a single best performer. Compare them on the same representative URLs before committing.
Which Browse AI alternatives fit Indian ecommerce data collection?
The strongest shortlist depends on whether you need a ready-made marketplace feed, a custom browser workflow, or an API your engineering team can configure. The table summarizes what each provider’s cited product information says it offers; these descriptions are vendor claims, not independently verified results on Indian ecommerce pages.
| Tool | Documented or vendor-claimed fit | Best question to settle before choosing |
|---|---|---|
| Nextract | Its product page describes Amazon and Flipkart queries, a REST API, webhooks, bulk catalogue jobs, and fields including title, price, MRP, discount, rating, reviews, stock, seller, variants, and delivery ETA. | Does it return the exact fields for your target categories and regions, at the refresh cadence and cost you need? |
| BrandBaazar | Its Flipkart API page says one call can return product details, live prices, discounts, rankings, seller information, ratings, and reviews as JSON. It also advertises uptime and response metrics; those figures are vendor-stated. | Is the workload primarily Flipkart, and can the provider demonstrate coverage for your product URLs and query types? |
| WebFusionData | The service claims coverage across 150+ Indian ecommerce platforms, with INR pricing, MRP, EMI, COD, pincode serviceability, marketplace fulfillment signals, normalization, and API, webhook, or bulk delivery. | Does its supported list include your exact retailer and fields, and will it supply representative records, freshness details, and contractual accuracy terms? |
| Browse AI | Browse AI describes no-code robots for marketplaces, brand sites, and Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce stores. It lists product fields, monitoring, exports, API and webhook delivery, and a managed service. Its prebuilt ecommerce robots are listed for Amazon, Best Buy, eBay, and Etsy; other stores can use custom robots. | Can a robot handle the exact Indian site and pages you need during a representative trial, and how much ongoing maintenance will it take? |
| Zyte API | Developer documentation describes a web extraction API. Zyte separately describes controls such as site blocking and rate limiting, plus compliance support. The cited material does not establish specific Indian ecommerce coverage. | Does your engineering team want a configurable extraction API, and can Zyte confirm support and responsible-use constraints for each target? |
| ScrapingBee | Its help documentation says the HTML API is for pre-login pages and points to dedicated APIs, including Amazon, for structured parsed data. The cited page does not substantiate Flipkart or broad India coverage. | Is the target pre-login, or can its dedicated Amazon API supply the required fields and geography? |
| Scrapit | Its Shopify App Store listing describes importing product titles, images, and variants from another store URL, bulk import, and syncing product details. It is a store-import workflow rather than a general competitive-intelligence extraction API. The captured listing showed no reviews. | Are you importing products into your own Shopify catalog rather than monitoring competitors? |
How to think about Browse AI versus the alternatives
Choose a specialized data service when fields matter more than robot flexibility
Nextract, BrandBaazar, and WebFusionData describe structured ecommerce data offerings. Their stated fields and marketplace coverage make them natural candidates to evaluate for recurring product monitoring. The scope differs: Nextract names Amazon and Flipkart; BrandBaazar is Flipkart-focused; WebFusionData claims a much wider Indian marketplace footprint. Ask each vendor to show what it returns for your own product URLs, including location-sensitive cases, rather than treating a field list or coverage claim as proof of accuracy.
Choose Browse AI when you want to build a no-code workflow
Browse AI’s appeal is the ability to train a custom robot and connect its output to monitoring and delivery workflows. Its ecommerce material lists titles, attributes, variants, images, prices, availability, seller information, ratings, and review counts as possible fields. It also describes catalog matching, change monitoring, Sheets/CSV/JSON exports, REST API and webhook delivery, warehouse connections, and managed service options. Its “any store” positioning should not be read as a guarantee that a specific Indian retailer, page type, or category will work reliably.

Browse AI’s plan page describes a free tier with 50 credits per month and two root domains. The vendor says one credit generally scrapes ten rows on most websites, while premium sites may cost up to one credit per row. Those are plan and billing descriptions from Browse AI, not independent measurements of extraction success or a prediction of your usage. Check the current plan terms and estimate your own volume before comparing cost.
Separate general extraction APIs from India-specific coverage
Zyte API and ScrapingBee may suit teams comfortable building around an API, but the cited material supports narrower conclusions than a claim of broad Indian marketplace coverage. ScrapingBee’s help material distinguishes its HTML API for pre-login pages from dedicated structured APIs such as its Amazon API. Confirm whether the required site, fields, and access conditions are supported before treating either service as a substitute for a marketplace-specific dataset.

Do not confuse seller APIs with public competitor feeds
Flipkart’s official developer material documents APIs for seller applications and operations such as listings and orders, subject to Flipkart’s terms. That can be the authorized route for a seller managing its own marketplace activity; it does not establish a general public API for competitor product research.
How to run a fair pilot before choosing
Compare providers with the same target pages and acceptance criteria. A small pilot is more informative than a broad coverage claim because marketplace pages can differ by category, location, query type, and product variant.

- List the exact targets. Record each marketplace or retailer domain, representative product URLs, search-result pages if needed, relevant categories, and any regional variations. Include pincode-dependent pages where price, delivery, or availability may change.
- Define the required record. Specify which fields are mandatory: for example title, selected variant, current price, MRP, stock status, seller, rating, review count, or delivery ETA. Include India-specific needs such as pincode serviceability, EMI, COD, or fulfillment signals only where they matter to your use case.
- Validate values against the page. For each candidate, inspect sample output and compare it manually with the source page. Check that the selected variant matches, prices are not confused with MRP, stock and seller refer to the intended offer, and ratings or review counts correspond to the right product.
- Measure freshness and change handling. Ask whether results are fetched live, scheduled, or cached; how often they can refresh; and how the service reports price or availability changes. A one-time successful extraction does not establish sustained monitoring quality.
- Test operating behavior. Evaluate retries, handling of page changes, maintenance effort, expected volume, and concurrency. For a no-code tool, assess robot setup and repair effort; for an API, assess integration work and failure handling.
- Check delivery and integration. Confirm the required output path—CSV or JSON, spreadsheet, API, webhook, warehouse export, or managed delivery—and verify that the format fits your downstream process.
- Compare total cost at your actual schedule. Include credits, per-request or per-record charges, minimum commitments, and the number of targets and runs. Request current pricing for the expected workload rather than extrapolating from unrelated plan examples.
- Confirm permitted use. Review the target site’s terms, data restrictions, privacy implications, and applicable law for the exact collection and intended use. A provider’s technical ability to fetch a page does not establish permission to collect or use its contents.
How to choose based on your use case
- Amazon and Flipkart, with structured product fields: include Nextract in the first round of evaluation because its product material names both marketplaces and a range of product and offer fields.
- Flipkart-first work: evaluate BrandBaazar alongside Nextract, and verify coverage against your own catalog and search cases.
- Many Indian marketplaces or location-specific fields: ask WebFusionData to substantiate its claimed coverage for your exact retailers, attributes, and pincodes.
- No-code robot creation and monitoring: pilot Browse AI on the actual pages, especially if the target is not among its listed prebuilt ecommerce robots.
- Engineering-led extraction: investigate Zyte or ScrapingBee only after confirming target-site support, structured fields, and any access constraints that matter to your workflow.
- Importing products into Shopify: Scrapit may be relevant to catalog import, but its described workflow is not a general competitor-monitoring service.
Where ScreenshotNeo fits—and where it does not
ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server, not a structured ecommerce-data extraction service. It is an alternative to try first when the immediate need is a visual record of a product page—for example, preserving how a listing looked—not when you need normalized prices, seller fields, or a recurring competitive dataset. Its stated differentiators include removing known consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture, and billing only clean shots; it reports page verdict and billing status in response headers. An MCP server provides screenshot tools for AI agents.
For a one-request page capture, use this cURL call; see the ScreenshotNeo documentation for API options:
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://www.flipkart.com/ -o shot.webp
That returns a page image, not extracted product fields. ScreenshotNeo offers 1,000 screenshots per month on its free plan with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. If a visual capture complements your data workflow, sign up for 1,000 free screenshots a month with no card.

What the available evidence can and cannot establish
The cited vendor materials describe useful product differences, but they do not provide an independently verified head-to-head success rate or price-accuracy comparison for Indian ecommerce sites. BrandBaazar’s advertised uptime and response figures are its own claims, and WebFusionData’s “150+” platform coverage is likewise a vendor claim. Treat such figures as prompts for a validation question, not as comparative proof. A same-URL pilot is the practical way to determine whether a candidate returns correct fields at a useful cadence for your workload.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use these tools to collect data from pages behind a login?
The cited ScrapingBee help material describes its HTML API as intended for pre-login pages. For any authenticated workflow, confirm the provider’s supported access method and the site’s terms before proceeding.
Should I store screenshots as evidence alongside extracted records?
That can be useful when you need a visual record to review alongside structured output. A screenshot API such as ScreenshotNeo captures a page image; it does not replace the extraction and field-validation step.
Is a vendor’s stated coverage list enough to approve a production rollout?
No. Ask for representative outputs and test the specific pages, regions, and fields your workflow depends on. Coverage descriptions alone do not establish accuracy or sustained performance.
