To receive Sken.io website-change alerts by email, create a monitoring job, enter the page URL and the email address for notifications, choose what kind of change to detect, set a checking interval, and save the job. Sken.io’s job form includes a “Notification email” field; the right monitoring area and mode help keep alerts focused on changes that matter.
Set up an email alert in Sken.io
- Open Sken.io’s create-job page and name the monitoring job.
- Enter the URL of the page you want to monitor. Sken.io describes its service as monitoring public pages without requiring installation on the site being watched.
- Select the area of the page that matters, such as a price, availability line, job listing, or clause. Sken.io says the rest of the page is ignored when you select an area.
- Choose the monitoring mode. Select Visual if a rendered change—such as a changed label, image, layout, or availability state—is the signal. Select Content if you care about changed text or numbers but do not want styling changes to trigger an alert.
- Set the checking interval. Sken.io lists intervals from once a minute to once a month; each check counts as one visit to the page, so a faster schedule uses the check allowance sooner.
- Enter the destination address in the Notification email field.
- Save or create the job using the controls on the form. The exact post-creation screens and any account-specific steps are not established by the public setup information.
Choose settings that produce useful alerts
Match the mode to the change
Use Visual mode for changes that are apparent in how the selected area looks. Use Content mode when the underlying words or values matter more than their presentation. A price monitor, for example, is usually more useful when it watches the price text than when it reacts to unrelated styling changes.
Balance detection speed against checks
Choose an interval according to how soon you need to know about a change. Since one check is one page visit, shorter intervals spend the available checks more quickly. Sken.io’s homepage says its interval choices range from once a minute to once a month.
Reduce noise without missing the target
Keep the selected area narrow enough to exclude unrelated page changes while still covering the information you need. Sken.io also describes an Element Removal mode for removing recurring banners, popups, chat widgets, and ads that could otherwise cause repeated alerts. Consider using it when those overlays appear in or near the monitored content.
Review a change after an alert
Sken.io says users can compare recent snapshots, and its features page lists up to 12 snapshots per monitoring task. Use the comparison to inspect what changed in the area you selected. Email is not the only notification route Sken.io lists: the homepage also names Android app push, Slack, Discord, Google Chat, webhooks, Zapier, and a Chrome extension. Choose another route only if it better fits how you want to receive notices.

Trial and plan context
As surfaced on Sken.io’s official pages on October 3, 2026, the homepage described a 14-day free trial with 140 checks and every feature unlocked, without a credit card or setup fee. The pricing page listed Basic at €3 per month for 500 checks, Standard at €12 per month for 3,000 checks, and Enterprise at €45 per month for 15,000 checks. These are vendor-published figures and can change; check Sken.io’s current pricing page for current terms. The pricing page also says subscriptions auto-renew and can be cancelled from the account.
Troubleshoot missing or noisy alerts
- You do not receive a useful alert: Check that the job’s Notification email field contains the intended destination and that the selected area includes the content that changed. Public setup information does not establish account-specific email verification or delivery steps.
- Unrelated visual changes trigger alerts: Try Content mode if the text or number is what matters, narrow the selected area, or use Element Removal for recurring overlays.
- Changes are detected too slowly: Review the interval and choose a faster schedule if the change warrants it, accounting for the faster use of the check allowance.
- The allowance runs out sooner than expected: Review the number of monitored jobs and their intervals. Each check is one visit, so frequent schedules consume checks faster.
- You want more than email notifications: Sken.io lists app push, collaboration integrations, webhooks, Zapier, and a Chrome extension among its other routes. Its Chrome Web Store listing identifies extension version 2.0.0, updated June 11, 2026; availability and listing details can change.
