If you need the webpage’s exact visual appearance instead, capture a full-page screenshot; that produces an image, which you must place in a document or slide and export as PDF separately.
Choose print-to-PDF or a full-page screenshot
These workflows create different results. Print-to-PDF lays out the page for paper and gives you controls such as orientation, scale, margins, and page breaks. A screenshot captures the rendered page as an image. Use print-to-PDF for a handout or a document that should flow across landscape pages; use a screenshot when preserving the on-screen design matters more than conventional pagination.

Print rendering can differ from the page on screen, so neither landscape orientation nor any particular scale guarantees an exact visual match. Mozilla notes that webpages can appear differently on paper. Mozilla’s Firefox printing guide describes the print controls.
Save a website as a landscape PDF in Firefox
- Open the webpage and wait for the content you need. If sections load only after scrolling, scroll through them before printing and check whether they appear in the preview.
- Open the Firefox menu and choose Print….
- Set the destination to Save to PDF.
- Set Orientation to Landscape.
- Open More settings and adjust paper size, scale, and margins if needed. Use the preview to check columns, text size, headers and footers, and page breaks. Enable print backgrounds if colored panels or background images are important to the design. Mozilla notes that the background control is unavailable when using Simplified format.
- Save the PDF, then reopen it and inspect the pages at the size and in the context in which you will present them.

Save a landscape PDF in Chrome on a computer
- Open the webpage and let the content you plan to include load.
- Open Chrome’s print window using File > Print, Ctrl+P on Windows or Linux, or Command+P on Mac.
- Select a PDF destination in the print window.
- Set the orientation to Landscape in the print settings, then adjust available layout options such as paper size, scale, and margins.
- Review the preview for clipped content, unreadable scaling, and awkward page breaks. Save the PDF and reopen it to verify the result.
Chrome’s available controls can depend on the destination and print setup. Google’s desktop instructions cover opening the print window, selecting a destination, and adjusting settings: Print from Chrome – Computer.
Capture a full-page screenshot instead
Firefox’s screenshot feature saves an image, not a paginated PDF. To capture a full page, right-click an empty area of the page and select Take Screenshot, or use Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows/Linux or Command+Shift+S on Mac. Choose Save full page, then download or copy the image. The precise interface can vary by Firefox version. Mozilla’s instructions are at Take screenshots in Firefox.

For a developer-oriented alternative in Firefox, open Developer Tools and use its full-page screenshot control; Firefox Source Docs also describes the console command :screenshot --fullpage. See Taking screenshots.
If the presentation requires a PDF, insert the screenshot image into a slide or document and export that file as PDF. This preserves the captured image’s appearance, but it may be tall or scaled to fit, and text in the image is less convenient to select or search than text in a conventional print-rendered document.

Prepare and troubleshoot the result
Content is missing from the preview
Some pages reveal content only as you scroll. Scroll through the page to trigger content that loads on demand, then reopen or refresh the preview and check that the required sections appear. If a section remains absent, the print rendering may not include it; a full-page screenshot is another option, but verify its capture too.
Columns are clipped or too small
Try landscape orientation, a suitable paper size, and narrower margins. If scaling the page to fit makes text unreadable, do not keep shrinking it: consider a screenshot placed across one or more presentation slides, or reorganize the content before exporting.

Colors or background panels disappear
Enable print backgrounds if the browser offers that setting. In Firefox, the control is under More settings and is unavailable when Simplified format is selected. A printout can still differ from the screen even with backgrounds enabled.
Page breaks split a section awkwardly
Inspect the preview and try a different scale, paper size, or margin setting. Browser print controls do not promise to preserve every website’s layout exactly; if the page is designed as one continuous visual, capture it as an image and package the image into a PDF instead.

The saved file does not look like the preview
Reopen the PDF in a viewer and inspect all pages before presenting it. If the output is wrong, return to the browser preview, adjust the settings, and save a new copy. Check the file you will actually share or display rather than assuming the preview is a perfect match.
