CryptoSe is described by its operator as a planned service that converts supported crypto assets into Indian rupees for payment to merchants through UPI QR codes. Its official website currently labels the service pre-launch and says its apps are coming soon, although a report published the same day says the apps are live. Public availability has not been independently confirmed, so treat the feature list as company-stated rather than proof of a working public app.
How CryptoSe says crypto-to-UPI payments will work
CryptoSe identifies Dadu Fintech Private Limited as its operating company. Its website describes a flow in which a user connects a non-custodial wallet, scans a merchant’s UPI QR code, receives an INR quote, and confirms a crypto-funded payment. The intended outcome is that the merchant receives rupees rather than cryptocurrency.
The company presents QR scanning and wallet connection as app features, but these are product descriptions, not independently tested performance. The pages reviewed do not establish which wallet integrations, payment rails, or settlement partners are operational.
Is CryptoSe available to download now?
The statements conflict. CryptoSe’s official website describes the product as pre-launch and says the mobile apps are coming soon. A Webindia123 report published on October 3, 2026 says the apps are live. That report does not independently establish store availability, and the available information does not resolve the discrepancy. Check the official app-store listings and confirm that the publisher is Dadu Fintech Private Limited before installing anything or connecting a wallet.

Which assets and networks does CryptoSe say it supports?
CryptoSe’s website and feature specification list USDT, USDC, BTC, and ETH, and name TRC-20 USDT, ERC-20 USDT, and ERC-20 USDC among network options. UPI is also listed. These are stated support options, not confirmation that every asset and network is currently usable in a public app. Confirm the exact token, network, wallet compatibility, and transaction fees in the product before sending funds; a token sent on an unsupported network may not be recoverable.
Does CryptoSe’s FIU-IND registration mean it is licensed?
No. CryptoSe says its operator is registered with FIU-IND as a virtual digital asset service provider and gives the identifier Temporary/2025/VDASP/219. This is an identifier stated on the company’s website; it has not been independently confirmed here.

Crucially, CryptoSe’s own disclaimer says: “FIU-IND is a reporting authority, not a licensor; references to ‘registered’ describe our registration as a PMLA reporting entity, not a banking or exchange licence.” FIU-IND materials describe a registration and AML/CFT framework for VDA reporting entities, including guidelines dated March 10, 2023, and a registration circular revised September 15, 2025. Those materials establish the framework, not the accuracy of CryptoSe’s claimed status or the effectiveness of its controls. Registration should not be read as government approval, a bank licence, or an exchange licence. See the FIU-India downloads and VDA guidance.
The company says it requires KYC and uses transaction monitoring and compliance controls. These remain company claims; users should review the actual onboarding requirements and terms before relying on them.

Will 1% TDS apply when spending crypto through CryptoSe?
India’s Income Tax Department says Section 194S generally requires deduction of tax at 1% of consideration when a payer pays a resident for the transfer of a virtual digital asset, subject to applicable thresholds and rules. Its guidance also sets out different responsibility rules for specified persons and transaction arrangements. A crypto-funded payment may involve a VDA transfer, but the responsible deductor and tax treatment for a particular CryptoSe transaction depend on the actual structure. Consult the Department’s Section 194S guidance or a tax professional for your circumstances.
CryptoSe says it deducts 1% TDS at source and provides tax-ready settlement statements. That is the company’s stated implementation; it does not by itself settle how the law applies to every transaction. Keep transaction records and check what the app actually deducts and documents.

What to verify before relying on the service
- Confirm that the app is publicly available through an official store listing and that the developer identity matches the operator.
- Check which assets, networks, and self-custody wallets are operational—not just listed in product descriptions.
- Review the INR quote, exchange-rate method, fees, settlement timing, and the process for failed or delayed payments.
- Understand how the service handles KYC, transaction monitoring, custody, and recovery if a payment is interrupted.
- Ask how TDS is calculated, who deducts it, and what statements or records you will receive.
The available product pages do not establish fees, settlement speed, banking partners, or verified real-world operation. Do not send funds on the assumption that these details are settled.
