On a computer or phone, play a video in the playlist, expand the playlist panel, and select Loop. On a TV or game console, open playback controls and select Repeat until the indicator says Repeat • Playlist.
If you mean a broadcast that is currently live, that is different: playlist repeat is a viewer playback control, not a documented way to keep a live broadcast going after a media item ends.
Loop a YouTube playlist on a computer or phone
- Open a video that is part of the playlist you want to repeat.
- Expand the playlist panel so you can see the playlist and its playback controls.
- Select Loop. The playlist will start again from its first video after the last one finishes.
YouTube’s instructions cover computer and mobile playback. The exact layout can vary by device or app version, so look for the playlist’s control rather than assuming the same button placement everywhere. YouTube Help: Loop videos or playlists on YouTube.
Loop a playlist on a TV or game console
- Start a video from the playlist.
- Open the player controls.
- Select Repeat until the on-screen label reads Repeat • Playlist.
That label indicates playlist repeat, rather than repeat of only the current video. YouTube Help documents this control for TVs and gaming consoles.

Make an embedded YouTube playlist repeat
If you control a website embedding the playlist, Google’s embedded-player parameters support loop=1 to replay the whole playlist from its first video. This applies to the embedded player; it does not change playback in youtube.com or the YouTube mobile app.
For an embed containing a playlist, use the playlist’s ID together with loop=1. For an embed of a single video, set the playlist parameter to that same video’s ID along with loop=1. See YouTube Embedded Players and Player Parameters for the documented parameters.

Loop is not autoplay
The embedded-player autoplay parameter controls whether the initial video starts automatically when the player loads. It is separate from loop, which controls repeating. Turning on autoplay alone does not make a playlist start again after its last video. Google’s player parameter documentation describes both settings.
If you mean a broadcast that is still live
A playlist of videos—including completed livestream replays that are available as videos in that playlist—uses viewer playback controls. The documented Loop/Repeat setting does not establish a way to restart or continue a broadcast that is still live.

Creators manage live broadcasts through YouTube Studio and Live Control Room, including workflows that use an encoder. That is a different workflow from enabling playlist repeat, and the official live-stream guidance does not specify an encoder’s repeat settings. See YouTube Help: Get started with live streaming.

When playlist repeat seems not to work
- It plays the same video again: Check that you selected the playlist-specific Loop control or that the TV/console label says Repeat • Playlist, rather than enabling repeat for one video.
- The next video does not start automatically: Autoplay and playlist repeat are different settings in the embedded player. Check the setting that matches the behavior you want.
- You are trying to keep a live broadcast on air: Playlist repeat is for viewer playback, not a documented live-broadcast continuation setting. Use the live-stream workflow in YouTube Studio/Live Control Room instead.
