It lists Chrome and Chromium-based browsers including Edge, Brave, and Opera.
The company says its service covers more than 6,000 monitored sites in more than 70 countries. This is an undated vendor claim, not an independent measurement. The store listing showed version 3.02, updated June 25, 2026, and disclosed user activity. The reviewed pages do not confirm automatic screenshot saving. This is a better fit if you already use or are considering its catalog-based monitoring service and want to inspect matched data while browsing.

- Capture the full product URL, the date and time with time zone, product name and variant, displayed price and currency, promotion wording, and stock status if relevant.
- Record whether the shown amount includes shipping or tax, and note the region when it affects the price.
- Set browser zoom and page width so the price and enough surrounding context to identify the retailer and product are readable. Capture the visible page or full page as appropriate.
- Save a separate row of structured values with the screenshot so changes can be compared without rereading every image.

Is Chrome Shopping Insights a competitor-monitoring alternative?
