Yes. Create a separate YouTube live stream and watch page for cartoons and bedtime stories, then send each feed its own video through an encoder. The setup can be shared, but the content, title, audience setting, and rights checks should be handled separately. YouTube does not guarantee an uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast, and streams longer than 12 hours may not be archived or offer DVR rewind.
Plan two distinct streams
Create one stream for cartoons and another for bedtime stories in YouTube Studio. Give each its own title, description, thumbnail, audience designation, and watch page so viewers can find the right content. You can use the same general encoder workflow for both, but one stream key does not create two editorially separate live pages.
Before setup, decide whether both feeds need to run at once. If so, your encoder arrangement must send the intended cartoon video to the cartoon stream and the intended story video to the bedtime-story stream. Check that your software or hardware supports the required separate outputs; YouTube’s setup guidance does not prescribe a particular product or configuration for sending two simultaneous feeds.
Check eligibility and prepare the content
- Channel eligibility: YouTube says the channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
- Video files and playlists: Organize the material for each stream separately and make sure the encoder can play or receive it continuously. The YouTube encoder workflow requires a stream URL and key; it does not itself supply cartoon or story videos.
- Rights: Confirm you have the necessary rights for live and archived use of every element: cartoons, story text, adaptations, illustrations, voice performances, music, and other audio or visuals. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions place responsibility for those rights on the content provider. Material being online or a story being old does not by itself establish that you can stream it.
- Audience designation: Review the content and intended audience before creating each stream. YouTube requires creators to set whether a video or live stream is Made for Kids.
Set the audience correctly for each feed
Do not assume every cartoon or family-friendly story has the same audience classification. YouTube’s factors include the intended or actual audience; child actors; characters or toys that appeal to children; child-oriented language, activities, songs, stories, or poems; and whether the material is advertised to children. The platform says content featuring characters, activities, songs, or stories that reflect an intent to target children is likely Made for Kids, but no single factor decides every case. For each stream, set the audience in the stream’s details in YouTube Studio according to the content and who it is intended for. If a feed is Made for Kids, expect feature restrictions: live chat and comments, the notification bell, cards and end screens, personalized advertising, and other engagement or commerce features may be unavailable or restricted. Do not plan a child-directed stream around chat interaction or promise personalized ads. YouTube explains the audience setting and its effects in Set your channel or video’s audience.
Create each stream in YouTube Studio
- Open Live Control Room: In YouTube Studio, select Create, then Go live. Create the cartoon stream and bedtime-story stream as separate live streams. Add a clear title, description, thumbnail, and audience setting to each.
- Choose the encoder workflow: YouTube’s encoder setup instructions describe using the Live Control Room stream URL and stream key in an encoder. Follow the stream’s displayed settings and do not treat a reused key as a second watch page.
- Configure the intended feed: In the encoder, enter the YouTube Live server URL and the key for the corresponding stream. If broadcasting both at once, configure separate outputs so each stream receives only its intended content.
- Start early and preview: Start the encoder before relying on the stream. In Live Control Room, check the preview and confirm the picture and audio are correct for that watch page before going live. YouTube recommends advance preparation, monitoring, and backup-encoder testing in its live-streaming tips.
- Go live and verify: Confirm that each watch page shows the correct stream and that Live Control Room reports the expected status. Check both feeds after launch rather than assuming one working output means the other is healthy.
Choose an encoder approach

Plan around the 12-hour archive and DVR caveats
YouTube says a live stream shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, while a stream that exceeds 12 hours may not be captured at all. The longer-session outcome is not certain, so do not rely on a YouTube archive as the only copy of a 24/7 feed. YouTube’s archive guidance explains the limit.

DVR rewind may also be limited or unavailable on streams longer than 12 hours. If viewers need replay or rewind, make a local recording and plan how you will preserve and publish the material; see YouTube’s DVR guidance.

Protect monetization eligibility with original value
YouTube’s monetization policies apply to live streams. The platform identifies repetitive or mass-produced material as “inauthentic content,” and reused content without significant original commentary, substantive modification, or educational or entertainment value can be ineligible for monetization. Distinct original cartoon episodes or story presentations with meaningful creative contribution are a stronger editorial basis than unattended loops of material someone else made, but monetization approval or revenue is not guaranteed. Keep the streams operational
A 24/7 schedule is an operating goal, not a promise of uninterrupted service from YouTube. Check the live status and watch pages regularly, listen for audio failures, and have a recovery plan if an encoder, connection, or stream drops. YouTube recommends monitoring and testing backup-encoder failover, but its official setup guidance does not guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 operation.
- No preview or signal: Check that the encoder has the correct YouTube server URL and stream key for that specific stream, then confirm it is sending the intended feed.
- Wrong content on a watch page: Check the encoder’s output-to-stream mapping. Keep the cartoon and bedtime-story outputs separate rather than routing both to the same stream configuration.
- Viewers cannot chat or rewind: Check the audience setting and the stream’s duration. Made-for-Kids restrictions can disable live chat; very long streams can have limited or unavailable DVR.
- No replay after a long session: A stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured. Use a local recording and consider shorter successive sessions when a platform archive is important.
- Stream stops unexpectedly: Check the encoder and source playback, then restore the intended output and verify the watch page. YouTube’s advice to prepare and test backup encoders can help with failover planning, but no specific recovery time is guaranteed.
- Monetization is unavailable: Review the stream’s rights and whether its content adds meaningful original contribution rather than relying on repetitive or reused material.
