Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteTo upload a Facebook video to YouTube, first get an authorized video file—ideally the original export—then upload it in YouTube Studio using Create → Upload videos. Facebook does not provide a universal download option for every video, and a video being visible or downloadable does not give you permission to repost it.
Before you start: choose a video file you can use
Use a video you created or have permission to republish, including permission for its music and other audio. If you still have the original export, use that rather than a copy downloaded from Facebook. A social-platform copy may not preserve the original resolution, metadata, or audio licensing.
Meta’s documented download instructions cover Facebook Live videos you previously shared; they do not establish a universal official download method for ordinary Facebook video posts. For an ordinary post, look for your original file or ask the rights holder for a copy. Avoid treating a third-party downloader as an official Meta method.
Download a Facebook Live video you previously shared
Meta describes download options for an individual Live video on a profile, a Page, or in Meta Business Suite. The exact placement and labels can vary.

- Sign in to YouTube Studio and select Create → Upload videos.
- Select the video file from your computer.
- Enter the video details and complete the available audience and other settings.
- Choose a visibility setting: Private, Unlisted, or Public. If you are not ready to publish immediately, schedule the video instead.
- Review the upload, including the Checks page for potential copyright issues.
- Save or schedule the video according to the visibility choice you made.
YouTube says it converts an uploaded video to the highest resolution available for playback across different devices and network conditions. Uploading may not be available for supervised accounts. YouTube’s help page also describes uploading up to 15 videos at a time, though one video is usually all that is needed for this transfer.

If YouTube rejects the file
Check YouTube’s current supported file formats guidance. If the file is not supported, export a compatible copy from your original editing project, if you have one. Do not assume that a Facebook-downloaded copy will match the original file’s quality or include all original audio.

A Facebook post being public—or having a download button—does not make its video or music free to reuse. Republish only material you made or are authorized to use. YouTube’s Checks page can screen for possible copyright issues, but a clean check does not grant permission from a copyright owner.
