In PRISM Mobile, you create a Video playlist from videos selected in the app—using media available on your device—and then use that saved playlist while streaming. PRISM’s ability to broadcast to YouTube is a separate feature, not a way to import a YouTube playlist.
Can you import a YouTube playlist URL into PRISM?
PRISM’s official instructions describe building a playlist inside PRISM Mobile from selected videos. They do not provide a step for pasting a YouTube playlist URL or importing YouTube-hosted videos. The documented procedure therefore applies to media available in the app, not to a playlist created on YouTube.
PRISM’s guide says: “You can create playlists with videos and music within the PRISM app and use them in live streaming.” That describes an in-app media playlist, not a YouTube playlist import. See PRISM’s Using Media Playlist guide.
Create a video playlist in PRISM Mobile
These steps are for PRISM Mobile on Android and iOS; they are not verified instructions for the desktop app. PRISM’s getting-started guide says its Media feature retrieves videos from your mobile device’s gallery, so have the video files available there.

- Open My Studio. Launch PRISM Mobile and go to My Studio.
- Start a Video playlist. Tap Playlist, then choose to create a Video playlist.
- Select videos. Choose the videos you want from the media available in the app, then create the playlist.
- Set playback order or position. Adjust the item order if needed. You can also seek to a specific position in a video.
- Reuse the saved playlist. PRISM stores the playlist as one item in My Studio, where you can select it for later use.

How the playlist workflow differs from streaming to YouTube
Creating a playlist and broadcasting to YouTube are separate tasks. PRISM can send a live broadcast to YouTube, and its YouTube options include scheduling a stream and copying the scheduled stream’s link. Those options concern the broadcast; the documentation does not describe them as importing YouTube playlists or videos into PRISM.

Playback-source limits to check
If Playlist is unavailable or you are trying to combine it with other playback media, check PRISM’s Source Usage Limit Guide. It lists video playlists among playback features and says playback sources such as music, video, and playlists cannot be used together. Available combinations and limits vary by device platform and streaming mode.
