Muvi describes a hosted live-streaming service that uses an encoder and advertises social-platform integration, including YouTube. You still need to configure and operate the source, budget for usage-based charges, and plan for YouTube’s archive and stream limits. For a simpler way to keep uploaded videos looping on YouTube without leaving a computer running, StreamNeo is the first alternative to consider: it runs in the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and gives the first day free.
What Muvi Live does—and what it does not prove
Muvi Live is a hosted live-streaming platform. Muvi’s public workflow describes setting up a stream, retrieving its URL and key, configuring streaming software or an encoder, and starting the stream. Its product materials advertise social-platform integration and simulcasting, including YouTube. See Muvi’s explanation of Muvi Live, its workflow overview, and its platform page.
That makes Muvi a possible component in a continuous broadcast setup, not a documented, turnkey guarantee of an uninterrupted 24/7 YouTube broadcast. The public materials reviewed do not provide independent end-to-end uptime evidence, a complete procedure for continuous YouTube delivery, or a list of hardware encoders verified by Muvi. Treat statements about unlimited live streaming, 24/7 support, or 24/7 use cases as Muvi’s own claims, not independently measured results. Before relying on the service for a mission-critical channel, ask Muvi about service-level terms, reconnect behavior, and compatibility with your specific encoder and routing plan.
How a Muvi-to-YouTube workflow fits together
The general workflow is to create the event in Muvi, configure an encoder to send the stream to Muvi, and configure the destination or simulcast path to YouTube. YouTube’s encoder guide separately explains how creators enter a YouTube server URL and stream key in an encoder. The reviewed public documentation does not spell out a complete, tested configuration for routing a Muvi stream to YouTube continuously, so confirm the exact endpoints, keys, and destination setup with Muvi before scheduling a broadcast. YouTube’s encoder instructions are at Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.

- 【Package Content & Note】 1x HD Audio Capture Card , 1x USB 3.0 to USB C Adapter (A-side 3.0, B-side 2.0), 1x user manual. Please note that you need to restart the OBS Studio software after the audio setup is complete, otherwise it will result in no sound output. When using an adapter, if the device is recognized as USB 2.0, try using the other side with the USB-C port. Simply flip the capture card and reconnect it to be recognized as USB 3.0
- Confirm the chain first. Ask Muvi which product configuration handles your intended source, YouTube destination, continuous runtime, and reconnect behavior. Confirm any encoder settings and whether Muvi or your own encoder is responsible for initiating recovery.
- Create the Muvi live event. Follow Muvi’s current setup flow to create the stream and retrieve the ingest URL and stream key. Keep keys private; anyone with access may be able to send video to that endpoint.
- Configure the encoder. Enter the Muvi ingest details in the encoder, then set the YouTube destination using the method Muvi confirms. Do not assume the Muvi ingest key and YouTube stream key are interchangeable.
- Test before going continuous. Start a short private or unlisted test if available in your workflow. Check video, audio, destination, and what happens after a network interruption or encoder restart. Verify the YouTube event is receiving the intended feed before leaving it unattended.
- Document recovery and recording. Decide who will restart the source or encoder, how you will detect an interruption, and where a local recording will be retained. YouTube recommends keeping a local archive; an on-platform archive is not assured for streams beyond its stated threshold.
A hardware live-streaming encoder is an optional way to supply a feed, but the reviewed material does not verify any particular device as Muvi-certified. Confirm required RTMP settings and compatibility with Muvi before buying equipment. Muvi’s separate mobile-app guide describes streaming from an Android or iOS camera and sharing generated HLS output; it notes latency of approximately under nine seconds and recommends 30 fps for most cases and 60 fps for games or sports. That guidance does not establish that the mobile app is appropriate for an unattended continuous broadcast. See Muvi’s mobile live-streaming guide.
YouTube rules that affect a 24/7 stream
Channel eligibility and stream limits
YouTube’s current Help guidance says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days to go live. Its stated minimum age for live streaming is 16. YouTube also documents a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and 3 per stream key. These are YouTube limits, separate from any Muvi plan limits. Check Get started with live streaming for current requirements.

Archiving a continuous broadcast
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, but warns: “If your stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all.” For a single uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast, do not rely on YouTube to preserve the complete program. Plan a local recording or another suitable archive and confirm that the recording process itself can run for the duration you need. See YouTube’s archive guidance.
DVR and audience replay
Live DVR rewind may be limited or unavailable on streams longer than 12 hours. If viewers need to rewind, catch up, or revisit segments, test the expected viewing experience and plan a separate way to publish recordings or clips. Details are in YouTube’s DVR guidance.

Copyright and reused content
A continuous loop does not exempt a channel from YouTube’s policies. Use video and audio you own or are licensed to use, and check the applicable YouTube rules before streaming. Repeatedly broadcasting third-party or minimally transformed material can also create monetization and channel-policy risks. Keep records of permissions and make the channel’s original contribution clear; do not treat a technically successful stream as proof that its content is eligible for monetization.
Muvi Live pricing and capacity
Muvi’s pricing page, accessed in 2026, lists the following base tiers and monthly allowances. These are vendor-published commercial figures, not a complete quote or an independent cost estimate. The page also lists infrastructure fees, and its FAQ says a live server costs $0.50 per active streaming-server hour. Recheck Muvi’s live pricing page before purchase because terms can change.

| Muvi tier | Base price shown | Monthly bandwidth allowance | Monthly streaming hours | Concurrent users shown | Concurrent events shown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $99/month | 100 GB | 10 | 10,000 | 2 |
| Professional | $299/month | 500 GB | 50 | 50,000 | 100 |
| Enterprise | $799/month | 1 TB | 100 | 50,000+ | Unlimited |
The comparison table gives the tier limits above, while some marketing blocks use broader or repeated wording. Ask Muvi to confirm the applicable allowances and infrastructure estimate for your intended bitrate, audience, number of streams, and continuous hours. In particular, the listed monthly streaming-hour allowances are far below the hours in a month for one uninterrupted stream, so determine how the allowance and active-server charges apply to your use case. Also confirm any delivery, storage, viewer, and overage charges; the published figures above do not settle those costs.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. When Muvi makes sense—and when a direct YouTube encoder may fit better
Muvi is worth investigating if you specifically need its hosted delivery layer or its other platform capabilities, such as embedding/player, recording, monetization, or multi-destination features. Confirm which features are included in the plan you are considering. A direct YouTube encoder workflow may be simpler if YouTube is the only destination and you do not need Muvi’s additional platform layer. Neither route removes the need to operate or monitor the source, plan recovery, and preserve a local archive where needed.

- Use a direct YouTube encoder workflow when you want to send a source directly to YouTube and can manage the encoder, source availability, reconnects, and recording yourself.

Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is to keep uploaded videos looping on YouTube rather than broadcast a live camera, StreamNeo is a more direct fit to evaluate. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo runs the loop in the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. Videos stream as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot regardless of quality; it also automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. It is for uploaded video on YouTube, not a camera feed. Start the free first day with StreamNeo.
