Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →For a prerecorded YouTube stream that must run continuously without keeping a PC on, compare dedicated cloud loop services first. StreamNeo is a focused option for YouTube-only looping; Gyre is another cloud-based service listed by YouTube. OneStream Live documents 24/7 streaming as an Enterprise feature, while StreamYard’s listed prerecorded-stream allowance is four hours on a plan tier—not a verified 24/7 loop service. For India-based creators, the right choice depends on continuous-stream eligibility, storage and scheduling limits, destinations, and the current India checkout total.
Best Gyre alternatives for continuous YouTube streaming
Here are the options that match different needs. StreamNeo is listed first because it runs an always-on YouTube stream from the cloud, supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day.
| Option | Fit for 24/7 prerecorded YouTube | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Focused cloud looping for YouTube; the creator uploads videos or builds a playlist and the service streams them from the cloud. | One stream per slot; 10 GB storage per slot, pooled across active slots. Check the current checkout total and whether the included storage and one-slot capacity suit your library. |
| Gyre | YouTube’s tool directory describes Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 live streaming of prerecorded videos on YouTube. Gyre says its server transmits a standard RTMP feed, so the creator’s computer need not act as the encoder. | Confirm the current plan’s concurrent streams, storage, file and duration limits, restart behavior, support, India billing and total taxes at checkout. |
| OneStream Live | Its Help Center says 24/7 streaming is exclusive to YouTube and requires an Enterprise plan. Documentation describes selecting or uploading stored videos, scheduling a stream, and a maximum duration of 30 days. | Ask whether Enterprise eligibility and its price make sense for your channel, and clarify what happens when a scheduled duration ends. |
| StreamYard | Its pricing page lists prerecorded streams with a four-hour allowance on a plan tier. This may suit occasional prerecorded programming alongside studio use, but the checked page does not establish it as a dedicated 24/7 loop service. | Check the exact plan’s allowance and whether it meets your intended broadcast schedule; do not infer continuous-loop eligibility from prerecorded streaming alone. |
| YouTube-listed Upstream | YouTube’s tool directory lists Upstream as a 24/7 cloud studio. | Verify its current plan limits, India availability, billing and workflow directly with the provider; those details are not established here. |
| Self-managed OBS/PC or VPS | Can be considered when you want to operate the encoder yourself, but the creator or administrator is responsible for the running machine and connection. | Compare hardware or server cost, power and network continuity, monitoring, restarts and technical time. Current detailed prices and reliability were not established for this route. |
YouTube’s directory entry for Gyre is a useful confirmation of its intended category, not a guarantee of channel growth, monetization, or recommendation gains. Those outcomes depend on factors beyond the streaming tool.
How to choose: verify the plan, not just the product
A service name alone does not tell you whether your chosen plan supports an uninterrupted stream. Before paying, confirm the following for the exact plan and destination:

- Continuous-stream permission: Does the plan explicitly permit 24/7 operation, or does it only allow prerecorded broadcasts up to a shorter duration?
- Destination: Is 24/7 streaming supported on YouTube specifically? OneStream Live’s documentation limits the feature to YouTube.
- Concurrency: How many streams can run at once, and is a separate slot or plan needed for each channel or stream?
- Library limits: Check storage, file size, supported formats, playlist behavior, and whether uploaded files are retained between broadcasts.
- Duration and recovery: Find the maximum scheduled run, what happens at its end, and whether the service resumes automatically after a platform interruption.
- Quality handling: Check supported resolution and frame rate, plus whether the provider re-encodes uploaded media.
- India checkout: Confirm the currency shown to you, taxes, payment methods, cancellation terms and support coverage at checkout. Publicly surfaced prices can change, and India totals were not established consistently across the compared services.
- Operational workload: A cloud service runs the encoder off your computer, but you still need to prepare compliant media, monitor channel status and manage the playlist or schedule.
Where each alternative makes sense
Choose a focused cloud loop service for unattended operation
If the central requirement is a continuous prerecorded stream and you do not want a home PC to act as the encoder, compare StreamNeo and Gyre first. Both are positioned around cloud operation for YouTube looping. Assess storage, number of simultaneous streams and interruption handling alongside price; the cheapest entry price is not necessarily the lowest-cost fit if it excludes the capacity or duration you need.
Consider OneStream Live if you need its broader workflow
OneStream Live may fit a creator who wants its wider publishing workflow and qualifies for Enterprise. Its own Help Center makes the key limitation explicit: 24/7 streaming is an Enterprise feature and is YouTube-only. The documented maximum scheduled stream duration is 30 days, so clarify renewal or restart steps before treating a schedule as indefinite.

Use StreamYard for shorter prerecorded programming plus studio work
StreamYard is the weaker match for an all-day loop based on the checked pricing page, which lists a four-hour prerecorded-stream allowance on a plan tier. It can still be relevant when interviews or live studio features matter more than uninterrupted looping. Verify the exact plan and allowance before building a schedule around it.
Use a self-managed encoder when control outweighs convenience
A PC or VPS route gives the operator responsibility for the streaming setup rather than outsourcing the encoder to a cloud loop provider. It may appeal if you already maintain an always-on machine and are comfortable diagnosing network, software and restart failures. The available information does not establish current VPS costs or comparative reliability, so calculate those from your own hardware, hosting quote and expected maintenance time.

India pricing and total-cost checks
Do not compare a headline monthly figure without checking what it buys. For each candidate, record the billable period, number of concurrent streams, storage, any duration cap, destination eligibility and taxes. An Enterprise-only continuous feature can change the economics compared with a service sold by stream or slot. If you are evaluating a self-managed setup, include hosting or hardware, electricity, connectivity and the time needed to monitor and recover it.
StreamNeo offers the same product features on each billing length; only the term changes. A slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, 24/7 looping and playlists, uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and StreamNeo team support. A streaming service can keep a feed running; it cannot make the underlying videos eligible for monetization or ensure that a channel complies with YouTube rules. Before scheduling a continuous playlist:

- Use video, music, artwork and other material you own or are authorized to stream. A license for a song or clip may have limits on platform, territory, duration or monetization.
- Review YouTube’s current copyright and monetization policies for the specific content and channel. Repeatedly looping material does not itself establish originality, rights or monetization eligibility.
- Check the live stream in YouTube Studio after starting it and respond to any copyright or policy notice. Do not assume that a cloud service’s recovery feature resolves a rights claim or policy restriction.
- Make the stream useful and accurately described to viewers; continuous availability alone does not promise watch time, revenue or recommendation placement.
For a practical preflight, use StreamNeo’s copyright safety checklist. You can estimate transfer time with the upload-time calculator and compare operational costs using the cloud vs PC cost calculator.
Or let it run in the cloud
For a YouTube-only prerecorded stream, StreamNeo’s setup is three steps:
- Upload a recording or build a playlist.
- Add your YouTube stream key once.
- Go live; StreamNeo loops the media from the cloud.
Your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. Uploaded video streams as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; the service automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, and the monthly option is $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo for details, or start the free first day.
