To keep Krishna bhajans on a YouTube channel around the clock, prepare the channel in advance, choose either a live-performance setup or a prerecorded playlist, clear the rights to every song and recording, then run and monitor a YouTube live stream. YouTube does not promise uninterrupted 24/7 broadcasting: power or internet failures, encoder problems, and copyright detection can stop a stream.
Choose what your 24/7 bhajan stream will broadcast
First decide whether viewers will hear live performers or a continuous program assembled from prerecorded bhajan recordings. The distinction affects both production and rights: a live gathering needs microphones and a suitable audio mix, while a playlist requires permission for each composition and each recording. A devotional purpose, traditional lyrics, or a recording already available online does not by itself establish that you may stream it.

- Live performance: Plan the room, microphones, mixing, visuals, and someone to monitor the broadcast.
- Prerecorded program: Make a playlist from recordings you own or have permission to use for this specific purpose. Keep permission records.
Prepare and test the YouTube channel
- Enable live streaming and verify the account. For a first broadcast, YouTube for Artists says to enable live streaming and verify the account at least 24 hours before the planned start. See YouTube for Artists.
- Schedule or create the stream in YouTube Studio. Use the channel’s live-stream setup to create the broadcast and retrieve its stream key. YouTube’s encoder setup guide describes creating the stream and entering the key into the encoder.
- Keep the stream key private. Treat it like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to send video to your channel. Do not display it on screen or share it publicly.
- Run an unlisted rehearsal. YouTube for Artists recommends testing before a public broadcast. Check the actual sound, image or visual loop, title, description, encoder connection, and the way you will monitor the stream.
Choose a way to keep the stream running
Use an encoder for a do-it-yourself broadcast
YouTube describes encoder streaming as offering more customization and control than a simple mobile or webcam stream. Google’s production guide outlines the workflow: prepare the encoder, create the YouTube stream, then enter the stream key in the encoder. YouTube’s official documentation also covers DASH and HLS ingest. Protocol details matter when choosing or configuring an implementation; they are not a guarantee of unattended, continuous operation.
For a continuous program, the encoder and its source must keep working, and you need a plan to respond if power, internet, software, or copyright issues interrupt the broadcast. A computer at home running an encoder is a do-it-yourself option, but it depends on that computer and connection remaining available.

Use StreamNeo to run uploaded bhajans from the cloud
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live; StreamNeo loops the program from the cloud, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. It plays uploaded videos rather than broadcasting a camera or live performers. StreamNeo is #1 among these ways to keep a prerecorded YouTube stream running because it stays on in the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and gives each account a first day free.
Every slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, 24/7 looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and StreamNeo team support. The product is the same on every plan; only the billing length changes. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. The first day is free with no card; there are also daily, weekly, six-month, and yearly billing options. UPI and cards are accepted in India, and card checkout is available worldwide. For five or more slots, contact support.

Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload your bhajan video or playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay powered on at home; uploaded video streams at its original quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot; StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream; and the first day is free with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. This is for prerecorded uploads, not a live camera or live performance. Start your free first day with StreamNeo.
Clear rights to the bhajans and recordings
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted material in another live broadcast. If detected content remains, YouTube may replace the picture with a placeholder, interrupt the stream, or terminate it. YouTube also says licensed third-party content can still be interrupted if the rights holder has not added the channel to its Content ID allowlist. Check YouTube Studio for warnings or strikes if a stream stops for copyright reasons. See YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance.
A song’s underlying composition and a particular performance or sound recording can raise separate rights questions. The official platform rules do not determine whether any particular bhajan, arrangement, performance, or recording is cleared for your channel, intended use, or territory. Get permission or establish another valid legal basis for the exact material; YouTube’s Terms of Service require this for third-party intellectual property you submit. If you have a license for third-party music, coordinate with the rights holder about adding your channel to its Content ID allowlist.
Monitor the broadcast and plan for interruptions
“24/7” is a schedule goal, not a promise of uninterrupted uptime from YouTube or an encoder. Decide who will check the live stream and YouTube Studio, and what they will do if the broadcast ends. For a self-hosted encoder, include power, internet, computer, software, and audio-source failures in that recovery plan. For any method, investigate copyright notices in Studio rather than repeatedly restarting the same material without resolving the rights issue.

Common problems and what to check
- Live streaming is unavailable: Enable the feature and verify the channel ahead of time; for a first stream, allow at least 24 hours as YouTube for Artists advises.
- The encoder will not connect: Confirm that the stream is configured in YouTube and that the encoder has the correct stream key. If you regenerate the key, update the encoder to match.
- The stream stops after starting: Check the encoder, computer, power, and internet for a DIY setup; check YouTube Studio for platform warnings, especially copyright notices.
- Video is replaced or the stream is interrupted: Review YouTube’s copyright notice and resolve the issue with the relevant rights holder. Licensed content may require the channel to be allowlisted in Content ID.
- A playlist contains a recording you cannot verify: Do not assume it is cleared because it is devotional, traditional, or already online. Replace it with material you own or have permission to stream.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I stream a bhajan recording just because it is traditional or devotional?
No. Those descriptions do not establish permission for a particular composition, arrangement, performance, or recording.
Does a cloud service such as StreamNeo broadcast live singers?
No. StreamNeo loops uploaded videos to YouTube; it does not go live from a camera.
