To run bhajans as a YouTube Live stream, you need a feed sent to YouTube through a supported live-stream setup—such as an encoder—or a cloud service that plays uploaded videos to YouTube.
Why a playlist loop is not a live stream
YouTube describes a playlist as a collection of videos. Its loop control is for a viewer watching a video in a playlist: the viewer can select Loop so the playlist repeats. That changes playback for the viewer; it does not create a live feed in your channel’s Live Control Room. YouTube’s playlist help and playlist-loop instructions describe those playback features.

Autoplay is also a viewer-side feature: when enabled, YouTube plays another related video after the current one ends. It is not a channel broadcast, and it may stop after inactivity. YouTube says autoplay stops after 30 minutes of inactivity on a mobile network or four hours on Wi-Fi; those are playback limits, not livestream duration limits. YouTube’s autoplay help explains the setting.
What a 24/7 bhajan broadcast needs
A YouTube Live broadcast needs a source sending a continuous feed to YouTube. In an encoder-based setup, you connect YouTube’s server URL and stream key in the encoder, then start sending the feed. YouTube defines an encoder as software or a hardware device that converts video into a digital format for streaming. For a continuous devotional channel, the playlist can be part of your media plan, but something still has to play the videos and transmit them as a live feed. You also need a plan to notice interruptions and restore the stream. YouTube recommends preparing the encoder in advance, checking the Live Control Room preview, and monitoring audio and video during the broadcast. Its guidance does not promise that a stream left unattended will never fail. YouTube’s live-streaming tips cover preparation and monitoring.
Ways to keep the feed running

YouTube identifies both software encoders and standalone hardware encoders; it does not declare one best for a 24/7 bhajan channel. The practical choice depends on who will maintain the system, how you will detect a stalled feed, and how quickly you can restore it. Test the actual bhajan audio and visuals in the Live Control Room preview before relying on the setup.
What YouTube’s 12-hour archive statement means
YouTube says live streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That statement is not a guarantee that one stream can stay live indefinitely, nor does it by itself establish a maximum stream duration. If your schedule depends on a specific uninterrupted duration, verify YouTube’s current limits and plan around the possibility of interruption. The encoder instructions contain the archive guidance.

Before broadcasting bhajans, make sure you have the rights needed for the recordings and any visuals you use. A devotional song’s traditional or religious subject does not by itself establish that a particular recording is free to stream. Review YouTube’s current copyright rules and your channel’s live-stream eligibility before scheduling a continuous broadcast; do not assume that looping a video changes the rights or policy obligations that apply to it.
